Arrived at the hotel with my 4 year old niece who desperately needed to use the toilet. I was told by the reception staff that they had no public toilets available. I then informed him that I was checking, after checking the reservation I was unable to check in as my partner who booked the room had ran to the... More

We visited Washington DC October 24-29 and found this hotel to be excellent. The staff were gracious and helpful in particular the breakfast staff, the room was clean and very nice. It is only a few minutes’ walk from the Subway however, not much in walking distance for food after 5pm, but this was easily overcome by smart pass for... More

My wife and I stayed at the DC residence Inn over the last 4 days. We were awarded with a room upgrade on arrival for platinum status. During the stay all of the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Michael who works the morning breakfast and concierge desk. All staff logged to make our stay excellent. Great location for... More

Hotel is a short walk to the train which gets you anywhere. Not too far from Smithsonian's. Area around shuts downs at night except for a pizza place so plan accordingly if you're hungry. Complimentary breakfast is packed daily so go early. Rooms are fine and clean. Very very small pool area and quite loud. No relaxing here as it... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We value input from our guests so that we can create memorable experiences in the future. As you stated we are conveniently located near the National Mall attractions which is a plus; however, our close proximity does limit the amount of restaurants that are readily accessible. Please bear... More

The staff here are super friendly, and very accommodating. The breakfast is both of poor quality, and bizarrely popular, which is puzzling. The room is fine. The whole place could use a nice refurbishment AND common with a lot of US hotels, they need to have a look at energy wastage - particularly the air conditioning. More of a short... More

I stayed seven nights in the hotel with my adult son for business/tourist reasons. In a few words, if you want a good value, look for other options in the same area before booking in this hotel: a Hyatt Place is half a block away, a Holiday-Inn is three blocks away, etc. I paid in advance to obtain a “low”... We visited Washington DC October 18-23 and found this hotel to be excellent. It was our 25th wedding anniversary and a bottle of champagne and goodies was waiting in our room when we checked in. The staff were gracious and helpful, the room was clean and very nice. Special call out to Corey who responded to room issues quickly (TV... More

We were greeted very warmly by the staff as soon as we entered. All week we met more very professional staff members. ESP the concierge, Michael Love, who's knowledge on the city and the food scene is brilliant! Unfortunately he is only part time. Then we realized he was a waiter in the morning breakfast, which is included. His experience... More

With a family of 5, we always have the challenge of finding a hotel that gives us the space we need in one room. This hotel was awesome! Two Queen beds, a separate living/kitchen area with a door. The sofa bed in the living area was not the most comfortable, the mattress was thin and springs could be felt. It... More

Location: about 3 blocks or so from the action. I went back and forth deciding if it was worth the bigger room or being right in the middle of things and settled on the room size for our family. As it turns out any hotel would have required a few blocks to get to museums and such so this was... More
