Service: The service is so attentive here. You get the quaint feeling of a B&B and the proximity to a lot of DC's hot spots. The French guy helped us out tremendously. Room: Cozy, cute, comfortable. Really makes you feel removed from reality. Wi Fi works fine. Shower takes a few minutes to turn warm, but everything is clean and...

I would happily stay here again, I'm a light sleeper and it was very quiet at night. The hosts are sweet and interested. The location was easy too. We walked to public transit everyday and there is stuff going on within walking distance as well. We enjoyed this place.

The winter might have been very cold outside but what a WARM WELCOME!!! I want to emphasize about the service that kept being amazing throughout our stay, from the personalized "concierge" advice (that was my first time in DC!) to the breakfast every morning where Jonathan makes you feel like if you were at home. as I said....AMAZING! My room...

Super friendly staff and great value for a nice (if not super deluxe) restful spot in a great location just north of Dupont Circle. I've stayed at the American Guest House half a dozen times now at least (frequent business traveler to DC). Staff remembers your name, and cooks you eggs to order in the morning for breakfast. The nice,...

My stay in the American Guest House B&B was really great. Staff was really friendly, attentive and helpful in every situation. I got a lot of information regarding places to visit or events to attend which really enriched my stay in Washington. Thanks a lot to Jonathan and Vanessa! Breakfast was great...besides all the regular things like rolls/crossaints, toast, cereals,...

Great location, very clean, personal attention, fantastic staff, and a good hot breakfast. Staff was helpful in answering questions about how to find destinations and what bus routes to take. Enjoyed meeting other guests over breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

As first time visitors to DC, this place provided everything we could possibly need. Conveniently located to all major sites in DC and not a long walk from the subway, it was very easy to find. The room was lovely, the food was great and Jonathan and his staff really made us feel at home.Definitely recommended!

I stay at AGH whenever I'm in DC for business, which is about 4-5 times per year. Johnathon and the staff always provide excellent service from check-in to check-out. Rooms are super clean, breakfast is custom-made, with lots of a la carte options, and the location is great. I will definitely stay at AGH again.

My husband and I traveled to the DC area for Thanksgiving and stayed 3 extra days to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. I found a GREAT coupon on trip advisor and based on other reviews decided this was an Inn that met all of our needs and wants. We really enjoyed our stay and even received a bottle of sparkling...
