Old hotel. That's why price is so good!Within walking distance of some museums. We used Uber for those a little further away as I have arthritic feet. Bed and bathroom were clean. Bathroom had sink, toilet and shower stall. Our room contained a double and twin beds, small TV, electric water pot with coffee & accessories, small closet, hair dryer,...

So, there probably isn't a better located, low cost hotel in DC. It is literally across the street from the new Trump hotel at a fraction of the cost. You would pay 6-7 times more for a basic room at the Trump hotel. Stay here ONLY if you plan to spend little or no wakeful time in your room. Our...

This was a good value hotel. It is an old, no frills hotel for those on a budget in a great location. The family room with three beds was perfect for us, we are a family of four with two teenagers. It is hard to find a hotel room with three beds. There is a lobby when you first walk...

It is a cheap place to sleep if you are able to fall asleep. Bathroom water was dripping all night. Bathroom door would not close. Electric and heating is very old and sketchy. Does not look like anything is ever cleaned. My child's wheelchair would not fit in the room past the doorway. Found a bug in the bathroom towels....

It isn't the fanciest hotel in town and doesn't pretend to be. But, for a simple basic hotel that serves the general travelling public, the Harrington does an excellent job of accommodating one's needs, and doing so at a moderate price. Just 5 blocks to the White House, less than a mile to the Capitol, 3 blocks to the closest...

Yes, this is an old hotel and not fancy at all...but I loved the old charm. It has a sense of character and charm. Location is great= walking distance to everything. The price is wonderful considering the prices of other downtown hotels. Room was comfortable. restaurants seemed popular. Parked the car in garage a block away. They offer the cheapest...

First thing, this hotel is old very evident as you enter the lobby. Has a certain charm about it. Do not let it fool you. Room was very clean, staff was very extremely friendly. Check-in and check out was quick. Price was right for the area. Location phenominal!! Walking distance to everything! Hard Rock Cafe about a block away. Overall...

Took my granddaughter to DC for her first visit and wanted to be close to the mall and stay some place affordable. This hotel fit the bill perfectly. Only a couple blocks from the mall and about four or five from the White House. The hotel is old but it was clean, convenient, and all the staff was nice. There...

If you are looking for a fancy hotel this may not be for you. This hotel is older but room was clean, beds were comfortable and the staff was so friendly. You can walk to every attraction on the mall. The metro station is one block away and there are places to eat everywhere. I would stay here again without...

Great location, don't expect luxury or up to date rooms, think many coats of paint on woodwork and saddish furnishings. Always felt safe, had clean bedding and hot water, had good staff interactions and didn't feel I overpaid.
