First, the good: it's clean, the staff are friendly, the Internet was free, the fitness center was nice. The not so good: my room was in a back corner of the hallway. One of those where they seemed to just have some leftover space and squeezed in a room. The view was of another building. Water pressure in the shower...

Dear davidwats, Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our hotel. I truly appreciate your feedback about the room that you stayed while here last week. The '01 rooms are a bit differently configured but they are extremely quiet rooms - except that there was some construction going on in the building that day you stayed....

4 blocks from Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro stop. Several restaurants close and one, the Jefferson Bistro, open for breakfast, maybe lunch?) in the hotel with a very good buffet (although expensive in my opinion) . But then, I don't eat breakfast out very much. Room was new or newly renovated, very clean and updated. Really liked the noon check-out on Easter...

The location of this hotel is awesome. It is very close to two metro stations: "Gallery Place - Chinatown" is the closest and "Metro Center" is around 5 minutes walk. There are multiple locations to eat around the hotel and a "Walgreens" store on 7th and H St NW. The check-in process was quick. They could not accommodate our request...

The club lounge is really great and definitely a way to start and end your day in the City. The breakfast and snacks in the evening are top notch and save $$ vs dining out. The front desk manager was first rate and even gave some free breakfast coupons for days (weekend) when the club lounge was closed. The lobby...

The Renaissance Washington DC is conveniently located next to Chinatown and just steps away from Metro and buses. There are numerous great restaurants in the area and the price is much lower than other local hotels. We were there for 5 nights and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

We stayed here April 4-7 to attend the White House Easter Egg roll. The neighborhood is safe with lots of food options. We have a toddler who has a limited palate, and we were able to find macaroni and cheese at Panera Bread or a Nando's chicken to grilled chicken and mashed potatoes at Matchbox 2 blocks away. Little China...

I was at the hotel first for a conference and then for leisure. I was at the hotel for a total of 7 nights. I would definitely stay here again. I paid extra for an upgraded (larger) room and I am glad I did. When my family arrived, the room was large enough so that we were each able to...

This hotel is only three very short blocks to the Metro Gallery station where three train lines run. We even walked to the National Mall on more that one occasion. There are plenty of great places to eat with in a very close distance. Neighborhood is great for walking, whether night or day. The hotel itself offers all the amenities...

I attended a conference at this hotel, and it was very accommodating. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and professional. The location is close to many great shops and restaurants, but a little far from the National Mall. The room was a little smaller than other Renaissance locations I've visited in the past, but very comfortable. The free WiFi was...

We stayed Thursday thru Saturday Easter weekend at this hotel. The location is perfect if you're checking out the DC sights. The neighborhood is very safe in the surrounding area. My wife and I were very comfortable walking around at night with our 11 and 13 year old daughters. The hotel itself was clean, the rooms were nice and the...
