I arrived for a dance convention with my daughter late on a Friday afternoon and found a check in line that circled the entire lobby! I asked where the check in was for platimum members and was told it was only available Monday through Thursday. I then asked where the self check in was and was told the sytem was... More

Dear jmyersrw, Thank you so much for your review of your stay with us last weekend. I certainly understand your frustration and concern about your check-in at our hotel on Friday. The dance convention has been staying at our hotel for over five years. Our team was ready as ever to welcome the troupe back to our hotel. In the... More

Was here on business trip. Honored conference rate. Starbucks inside. Rooms good condition. Bathrooms a little tight but is in DC. Location is perfect next to convention center and close to Metro. I will stay here again. Great bed and quiet room.

This hotel has lovely rooms for guests as well as a gorgeous lobby area with a bar, starbucks and restaurant attached. It also has a Market and a sundry shop attached. It is within 2-3 blocks of the subway system and in walking distance to all of the restaurants (including chinatown) and Metro Center (sports/concert venue).

I enjoyed my stay and the lobby and rooms were excellent. I really enjoyed myself and will definitely go again. I went for my son''s Bowl game. The team stayed there and all of the staff were vey nice. The shuttles were very timely. They had very nice restaurants and the lobby was decorated very nicely. They had a pretty... More

Our family stayed at this very modern hotel over New Years and really enjoyed our experience. We were in town for the Winter Classic with our teenagers. The hotel is in walking distance to many museums, White House, Lincoin memorial etc. and restaurants and shopping. The hotel lobby was one my favourite spots to hang out and have coffee/drinks. We... Lobby was inviting and interesting. It was spacious yet still yielded private areas. Had full bar in the lobby and you could order snacks. Very people friendly. Restaurant was superb. Service was excellent. Our room was clean. Room service was very prompt. Loved this hotel. I will stay again.

What a strange combination of shiny new renovated common spaces and truly mediocre rooms. We have had good experiences with Marriott properties in the past, and the lobby with cozy spaces and soaring ceiling made us hopeful. But our room was not much to speak of. The floor sloped from side to side, the bathroom had thick black mold in... More

Hotel location was the primary reason why we chose it, but that was just the beginning. It is between two central Metro stops and walking distance from the mall. Room was very clean and had all the basic amenities. Parking was really reasonable ($35/day) for the area. It was also great to have a Starbucks in the lobby to get... More

I have a high expectation of Renaissance Marriott's - based on my travel to others locations. The lobby, front line staff and room decor was excellent. The front desk staff helped me out when I forgot my phone charger by charging my battery for me (Thank you Roman!) and Johnny the Doorman and Teddy the Bellman were very welcoming and... More

We spent two nights at this hotel and everything was first class. WE asked for a high floor king and they put us on the fifteenth floor. The room was large, clean and has a great bathroom. The lobby was large with a casual bar and a lot of comfortable chairs. All the service people were great except maybe the... More
