I chose this hotel because it was the least expensive I could find during the Spring Break high season. I got a good deal on what turned out to be a tiny, weird room. Two of the elevators were broken for most of my stay, and one was left wide open with screwy signage and a yellow caution tape in...

Awesome hotel and friendly staff. Had a great stay at this location and would definitely return. The location is also great for touring the DC region. Cons: Short hike to either Metro stop which can be annoying during the rain or heat/humidity.

Nice hotel well located for both downtown and georgetown which are both around 15 minutes walk away in opposite directions. Adequate room with nice shower. Tv showing sixty channels. Breakfast available- excellent breakfast buffet but found it pricey at over 50 dollars per couple once the tax and tips are included, so usually went elsewhere. A couple of restaurants and...

We went to DC for a weekend of sight seeing and stayed at this hotel. It is near the center of the city and close to many sights, or a short taxi ride to them. Across the street there is a Starbucks so although the hotel does not include breakfast it was easy to get. There are also many restaurants...

Great modern hotel. The room was clean and well kept. As with most DC hotels, there isn't a parking garage. So, its either you pay their parking fee or find a cheaper parking garage. Only downside to our stay was a family allowing their children to play in the hallway.

On the plus side: great location, nice staff On the down side: small rooms with two full (not queen) beds; under staffed (took very long time to get requests if needed something in room); elevators broken (oftentimes, only two of four working); overpriced parking ($50/night)

This hotel is called “renaissance” and let me say how fitting the name is given that this era came out of the dark ages. So, this hotel belongs in the very early years of the renaissance when the dark ages were much the norm and the plague ravaged us Europeans. Three days of a father-teenager son looking at colleges were...

This was a fairly nice hotel that is clean but a little old and dated. Have stayed in Renaissance hotels previously and this didn't quite meet the standard of other hotels in the chain. Very clean but all the hotel looks old and there were inconsistencies between facilities in rooms (some have fridges/irons/hair dryers and some don't). Internet is extremely...

Rooms/bathrooms extremely small. We have two adults and two teenagers. We can barely fit our 3 suitcases in the room. Would have cancelled, but hotel wouldn't allow because we booked package deal through Expedia. Staff was very nice and accommodating. When I complained about the size of the room I was told that it is a boutique hotel. It is...

The Renaissance oozes with a welcome feeling, as the entire staff seems to wish you a great stay..From. Kelle and Kadisha at reception to Haile at the front door, I was confident that all concerns and questions would receive the best of care. THe location is great, with some fabulous restaurants across the street. The Illy coffee shop within the...
