Absolutely beautiful hotel. Classy , clean, staff were amazing - so friendly. Two ladies in particular on the front desk were so welcoming - always interested in my sightseeing when I'd return to the hotel of an evening. Bathroom was amazing - a tv in the mirror!!! Room was immaculate - could have been slightly bigger. Just a 5minute walk...

Luxurious in every way! Pampered and spoiled at every turn. This hotel was amazing from head to toe. Excellent location only a few blocks from the White House. This historical building has been remodeled to maintain the original charm and elegance of the era. Service was outstanding. The restaurant and piano bar inside also top notch. We loved this place...

This is where we will be staying on future visits to DC. It is a wonderful hotel, the staff is friendly and excellent. The rooms are nicely appointed, the bathrooms are sleek and functional. We had a nice size closet. The lobby and hallways are beautiful. The Quill Bar is perfection, the staff excellent. Best hotel we have found in...

The staff really go out of their way to personalize your visit and do that extra bit at every turn. The hotel is impeccably kept and Plume the restaurant is in a class of its own but mostly its the caring happy staff that make it special. My wife and I would never stay anywhere else in DC and we...

Absolutely the finest service we've ever received! Spectacular! We were guests of The Jefferson as our daughter hosted her wedding reception in the Gallatin Room. The food was exemplary, the service even more exemplary!! The Sommelier introduced each course of food and the accompanying sparkling and wines. She was amazing! All of the wedding guests loved her so much her...

Just returned from a weekend stay at The Jefferson. This was my second stay, and it was actually better than I remembered. The rooms are really big, beds are super comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful. The quill lounge has delicious light food and a great vibe for after dinner drinks.

We stayed three nights on our short visit DC. The room was wonderfully located and very comfortable. And the staff were courteous and helpful from the moment we arrived. A short walk down to The Whitehouse the hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the main tourist attractions on foot. Also walkable are the buzzy restaurants on 14th Street. If you're...

We stayed at the Jefferson for two nights as the base to see Washington. From the moment we arrived we felt pampered and looked after. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The bar, breakfast and dinner areas were first class in ambience, service and quality. We had room 502, which was a premier room with a King bed. Is...

The hotel has a certain historic charm, not usually my style but it did fit with the building. The room was spacious and had everything we could need, we were on the 5th floor and it was quiet for a city hotel. The sparkling wine and chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary was a nice touch. 15 minute or so...

The Jefferson, The Mayflower and The Willard are the three "old world" hotels in the city. There are other newer hotels such as Mandarin Oriental which are first class as well but don't have the character that these do. The Jefferson is beautifully appointed and the staff are there to attend to your every need. Not inexpensive by any stretch...
