Our baby got a severe conjunctivitis and our whole family had respiratory problems when the hotel put us in a very moldy room that should be out of service even in a budget property. I can imagine that a US guest would take legal action with our level of health issues from this hotel., and here there was not even...

I traveled to DC for a 5 day vacation from June 13-17 with my 14yo. Decided on the Fairfax, since I was looking for a convenient, safe location in the DC area. I am so happy with my choice. The property is a beautiful boutique hotel with a historic, antique feel. We had a 2 queen Grand Deluxe Room that...

The Fairfax is part of the Luxury Collection Hotel and Resorts . . Very quiet, the staff is exceptional, the front desk goes out of their way to make you feel at home, the bar is one of the old wooden bars--beautiful, food fabulous. Cannot say enough about this hotel. Quaint neighborhood with many restaurants within walking distance . ....

Stayed at this hotel while attending a conference for work. It was very easy to get to from the Metro station and being located very close to Dupont Circle, had lots of great restaurant options near by. The hotel itself is very beautiful but I second some of the other reviews by saying it's a little dated. The bed was...

The hotel is in a wonderful location, in the middle of Embassy Row and just blocks from Dupont Circle and the restaurants on P Street, as well as the Dupont Circle metro. You can feel the history in the building as you step in the lobby and wander the halls. Unfortunately, some of the details in the hotel need a...

Our arrival was very early in the morning. We expected to have to wait for a few hours before our room was ready. Sonnelle Gonzales, however, came to the rescue. Great hotel. Fantastic buffet breakfast. A bit pricey. Great location on Embassy Row/Dupont Circle. Left wake-up call for 7 A.M. Called at 4:45 A.M. Complained to Manager on duty and asked for room to be complimentary. She refused because made reservation through Hotwire.
