Stayed here Easter weekend for a college visit to AU. Have stayed at other Kimpton properties but first time at this one. I like the Glover Park location (near Cathedral) and it's very convenient to American University. Great free Wi-fi, this is a dog-friendly property, they offer complimentary wine in the lobby from 5-6 pm and free coffee in the...

Hotel not so bad. Clean and comfortable. But front desk service and restaurant service needs some work. Very disjointed. Too many mistakes. Valet staff very good. Rooms in the front of Hotel can be noisy.

The Kimpton Glover Hotel was very clean - The staff was very friendly. We were touring American University and they had a shuttle that went right there. Very convenient and very nice area to walk around. There was a CVS and Rite Aid just down the street plus also a bagel and coffee place close by. We went to the...

We have been staying at this hotel since it was the Savoy Suites; very satisfied then more satisfied now; there is fun vibe to this hotel missing when it was just the Savoy Suites. Rooms are ALWAYS clean and sometimes great views. The restaurant is a place to go; breakfast very good. Have not had dinner here because we visit...

We have liked staying at Kimptons. This was advertised as a newer one in DC so we thought we would check it out. Kimpton is known for renovating buildings and with that offering the charm that many of these older properties have with a cool more modern vibe. They also are known for having nice restaurants. This property is an...

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to AU and GWU. It is not up to Kimpton standards. The lobby is tiny with little room to sit or even wait in line at the front desk, which is run by kind, but less than professional staff. The shuttle service is sketchy and unreliable. The hallways are shockingly stark and...

My husband and I stayed at The Kimpton Glover Park for six nights while visiting our daughter, who is a student at nearby American University. Our experience was positive and we will definitely return. Our room - a basic queen on the sixth floor - was extremely clean and decorated with a bit of the Kimpton flair we have come...

stayed here for the 2nd time since it became Kimpton Glover Park. Great improvement from the old Savoy hotel . Nicely appointed rooms, love the nice firm beds, friendly & welcoming staff ; don't miss the 5-6 pm free wine served in the lobby & try the new restaurant, Casolare. Request for rooms with city view on higher floors, you...

A slew of sloppy budget conscious travelers dogs. I like dogs but I don't want to share a hotel with them. shuttle service to Woodley metro is run loosely, and even when timed well it's almost an hour into the national mall. hotel lobby is minuscule, with no place to sit and wait for people with any privacy, much less...

We chose Kimpton Glover Park due to its location between American University and George Washington University. We were pleasantly surprised that we were able to walk to dinner (and even to AU). Nicely appointed large room with wonderful beds but a very small bathroom. Friendly and caring staff. Another great stay at a Kimpton property.
