A very nice hotel near American University. Restaurant is good, but a little overpriced. I wish they had complimentary bottled water in the rooms. Anthony was an excellent hotel shuttle driver, picking me up promptly at the Metro Station and providing service to the AU campus the next morning.

We stayed here for two nights over the Thanksgiving holiday. The room was large and immaculate with wonderful beds and bedding which really means a lot to us as seniors. Bathroom small but also immaculate. Everything is new! On top of a great location we loved Cassolare Restaurant. Fabulous dining experience and a cordial bartender Finding a lovely spot for... More

Just at the north edge of Georgetown, strategically located between the Vice President's house and the Russian Embassy, is this wonderful Kimpton property. We've stayed at a number of Kimpton hotels and they are all unique. The Glover Park doesn't disappoint. Friendly staff, a large room (ours looked out on the Washington Cathedral), and great bed made for a lovely... More

Really appreciate your Kimpton loyalty, and for trying us out on this trip! Thank you very much. I go back and forth between my favorite views from our rooms being of the National Cathedral, and those overlooking the Washington Monument as they capture a large part of the Northwest section of the city. Either way it is great to have... More

We stayed here while visiting friends for Thanksgiving and left disappointed and annoyed. The people on reception say a lot of things but don't really do anything. We asked for a cot for our toddler to sleep in, they told me they would bring it in our room. In 3 days they never did and never said anything. The first... More

I got stuck in DC a year ago and stayed at this hotel which was then The Savoy. Kimpton was just taking over and, wow! What a transformation! Don't expect the same level of "fancy" as some of the downtown Kimptons. This hotel is in a very nice and beautiful mostly residential neighborhood, so the decor fits in well. The... More

When travelling in DC on business, my first choice is always the Kimpton collection. I've never been disappointed. The consistent experience continues, as I've become a frequent guest at Kimpton's more recent addition to DC - The Glover Park. The renovation of the former Savoy Suites, is amazing. The decor is light, fresh, minimalist, and comfortable. The beds are better... More

Decent room, AWESOME FOOD! You must try the shrimp appetizer. I have to say what made the hotel stand out was the service. Amazing service from Anthony the shuttle driver, and the restaurant staff was awesome. Anthony was a real pleasure to chat with on the way to my boring conference. Recently renovated, a few of the details are a bit quirky, but that's the only drawback we found. Spacious, clean, nicely-styled room, comfortable bed, lovely Georgetown view. This property is right on Wisconsin Ave, down the block" from basics like bars, restaurants, drug stores. Friendly, forthcoming staff wants to make sure you're enjoying your stay. Did not visit sleek-looking Casolare... More

Kimpton does it again. I was not a guest at this hotel when it was the Savoy Suites. Rooms have been nicely renovated, with all necessary amenities. Bathroom is small, but designed to provide ample storage for toiletries, towels, etc,. Comfortable bed, flat screen TV, coffee and tea in lobby. Convenient to Whole Foods, CVS, and Starbucks. My husband and two daughters spent two nights at the Kimpton Glover Park Hotel last weekend. We were in town to visit my oldest daughter at American University.
