My partner and I recently spent five nights at the Kimpton Glover Park Hotel, formerly the Savoy Suites, Washington, D.C.. We had stayed there when it was the Savoy Suites and had liked it, but its new incarnation is a definite improvement. Our room was quiet, clean, and functional, with Ikea-like furnishings. The beds were extremely comfortable. The only thing...

This hotel was amazing. From the free tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the morning to the complimentary umbrella, helpful staff, and room upgrade this hotel will definitely be on our list when we next come to DC. The beds were so comfy and the heating was great. The shower was very nice, clean and large. CVS and whole foods...

We had two excellent meals: dinner and breakfast the following morning. The wait staff for dinner knew their menu, made amazing recommendations and were attentive. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice, the drawbacks were minor-probably missing robes and one of the smallest bathrooms I've seen in a while. Wine hour was intimate and the staff...

Really enjoyed staying here. Spacious, modern rooms, good showers, helpful staff. Well-stocked bar and classy restaurant downstairs. Complimentary wine and hot chocolate in the evening. And a good gym with fitness classes available to guests.

For our 2016 family Christmas the Kimpton Glover Park served as the 'home' for the 19 of us who did not live in DC. Ursula McNamara, Director of Sales and Marketing, worked with us on all the arrangements. We had 8 rooms; she and her staff made sure that per our request they were all on the same floor. My...

The room was well appointed and frette linens, a sofa and desk for working. I stayed three nights while on business and the room was a relaxing oasis after long days. The parking fee was a bit expensive but that is the norm for D hotels. I did not have a pet with me but enjoyed seeing them in the...

A very nice mid market hotel, located in a nice quiet neighborhood Accommodations are clean and modern, staff is friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Be aware that Glover Park is not particularly close to major attractions in DC, such a museums and the Mall. It is also not close to any Metro stop, so you'll need a car,...

Stayed with my family for 8 days and had a great time. Hotel decor is of very good taste, the bar/restaurant has great music, and they have complimentary hot chocolate/coffee/tee in the morning and wine in the afternoon. The staff is all so nice and friendly. And you're almost sure to see friendly dogs around the lobby or getting in...

We spent 2 nights, had a great clean spacious room with a view on the city, enjoyed the restaurant and received a warm welcome from the staff. Will come again. We parked our car overnight at the hotel, a little too expensive, though.
