Clean chic and modern hotel with close proximity to union station the national mall and monuments. Had a wonderful view of the capital building which is even more spectacular at night when it is lit up.
We arrived early and the room wasn’t ready...front desk asked for our telephone number and will call when our room was ready...we got to leave our luggage with hotel.

The room was reasonably priced and was very nice, although small, which I didn't mind. The staff was friendly and helpful. This would have been a great hotel, EXCEPT: the way it's set up, the rooms overlook a "courtyard" with a big event room and...More

I didn't need a car at all. I took the train from BWI. Union Station is maybe a 1/4 mile from the hotel. That's where I caught the train back to the airport as well as the metro that took me to all attractions. There is also the DC Circular ( I think that's what it was called) that was a super cheap way to see all of the monuments. For $2 you can hop on/off as much as you like. The bus stops at all the monuments. Stay as long/little as you like as the next bus comes in about 15 min. The Circular also stops right up the road from the hotel (across from Union Station.)
