The Willard has been the site of many prestigious meetings, conferences and social events for nearly 200 years. With 19 meeting rooms and over 22,000 sq. ft. of event space, The Willard features unique and elegant function rooms including several ballrooms from which to choose. Discover a relaxing counterpoint to the busy pace of Washington, D.C. as you savor the fare at Cafe du Parc, featuring delicious French bistro cuisine and exquisite house-made patisseries. Reserve a table on one of Washington's most popular terraces' or dine inside in a modern, sleek Parisian-style setting. Join us for a drink in the historic Round Robin Bar. Located just off the lobby of The Willard, the Round Robin Bar has been a lively meeting place for Washington's political and social elite since the days of Abraham Lincoln. Long celebrated as one of the best in D.C., this legendary bar was known as the nexus of "Rum Row" and the "E street Corridor" -- plying its trade to luminaries such as Mark Twain and Walt Whitman. Today, this fashionable downtown spot draws a smart, stylish cross section of DC movers and shakers. The Round Robin Bar is open seven days a week, Monday through Saturday from 12 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. and Sundays 12:00 p.m. to midnight.

Thank you for taking the time to share feedback on your recent stay at the Willard InterContinental. Michael, it was an absolute pleasure welcoming you and your wife back to our hotel 52 years after your 1967 prom. The stories you have from your prom back then are truly special and highlight how deeply intertwined the Willard's history is with the personal history of so many people who have visited the iconic property over the past 200 years. We're thrilled your stay with us was memorable once again. We very much look forward to welcoming you back to The Willard in the future. Regards, Markus Platzer General Manager

Our staff work incredibly hard to ensure that our guests have a memorable experience at our property, thus we're thrilled to learn you and your family did. He is a very valuable member of our team who strives to ensure that even the youngest of travelers have a wonderful experience at The Willard. Learning that your daughter did pleases us immensely. On a work trip in DC, we stopped by the bar for a couple of drinks after work. When I was getting ready to leave a couple of items fell out of my handbag. I did not notice that a small pouch with my credit cards, license, etc. had fallen and rolled under a chair. A few hours

Thank you for the 5-star review. Here at The Willard, we understand the stress and anxiety that results from leaving behind valuable items. Our team is well trained at ensuring those lost items are returned to their owner as quickly and efficiently as possible. Hearing that both Steve and Jonah were able to retrieve and return your items in this manner is music to our ears. We will be sure to share your kind words with them both. Should your travels bring you back to Washington, we hope to welcome you again soon. Regards, Simon Chapman Hotel Manager

Hello Britty123. In June of this year, the Willard InterContinental completed an $18 million dollar refurbishment of our guest rooms and suites! We're immensely pleased with the finished product and hope you will be too! In regards to your question regarding bars on property. We have two. One is the Round Robin Bar, one of the most historic bars in Washington. The other is called Le Bar which is located inside our restaurant, Cafe du Parc. We look forward to welcoming you to the Willard InterContinental.
