The Willard is a national landmark with plenty of charm. It's really hard to find any faults in the quality of the rooms, cleanliness, levels of comfort, service, friendliness of staff, or intangibles. Well, I guess I do have a minor quibble: the bathroom fixtures in my room were very basic. For example, in a room costing this much I... More

This is a historic hotel, wonderful lobby, (lobbyist is said to have originated here) very large, used by organisations for conferences & meetings, hence very busy. We were here with an American tour company who booked the rooms. We were a little disappointed with our room, up on 12th floor, more or less in the eaves, we should have requested... More

My husband and I got married in April - it was a small civil service with a couple of family members present. We wanted to go all out and have a romantic stay at the Willard so we stayed in the Jenny Lind suite the evening on our wedding night. The suite is very pricey but it has awesome views... More

I have stayed at this intercontinental a few times. This is by far my favorite intercontinental In the country. The location is right across the street from the White House. The staff is amazing to their guests. The rooms are impeccable. Our maid took care of our 7 rooms that we had for the entire 5 day visit. Area restaurants... More

From the moment we checked into this beautiful, historic and centrally located hotel, we enjoyed our stay. A young woman, of Vietnamese decent, acknowledged my Ambassador status, and give us an upgraded room, with a partial Washinton Memorial view . Beautifully appointed room, with traditional furnishings, quiet, great bed. The location of this hotel puts you in the middle of... More

Passed here on a rainy day after seeing the sights. It was still fairly warm so we thought we would sit under one of the umbrellas outside however they were packing them up so we had to sit inside. After no one came to serve us we asked can we order coffees. Which we did at the bar. Food was... More

My wife, daugther, and I have stayed here twice now, and I will not stay at another hotel in Washington. I am a Hilton Diamond member, and even with all of the benefits that go along with that status, I still prefer to stay at the Willard. From the moment you arrive, you know that you are at a very... The lobby was the best part of the entire hotel. The ornate carvings were very cool to look at. Had a good bar and the rooms were very nice and good size. The staff was exceptional. The resturant was a bit over priced, but its DC, everything is overpriced.

The Willard is gorgeous! I could have just spent hours in the lobby, it is so elegant. Definitely have a glass of wine in the Round Bar; it's as beautiful as the lobby, but cozy and fun, too. It's definitely expensive, but for the location (you can walk to the White House, the Capital Mall, and just about anything you... More

This hotel is beautiful. As soon as you walk in, you get a sense of grandeur and it's amazing. The bell staff was nice. The reception staff was nice but it didn't feel genuine. In comparison, everyone is very nice at the IC Le Grand in Paris. You feel welcome. Nonetheless, this doesn't take away from how beautiful and convenient... More
