We had an amazing experience in this modern and authentic hotel. We loved the décor, full of art and powerful, moving messages about women's rights and civil rights. The rooftop bar and pool area was a bonus and a nice surprise, with beautiful views of the city, authentic drinks, and great music. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable, also with beautiful views of the city. Everything was just perfect! Kudos to the staff for the amazing service 👏

A spectacular experience. No one stood out because everyone went above and beyond with even the smallest of requests. From the bellhop to the front desk, from housekeeping to the general manager, I want to thank everyone for making this trip to DC a memorable one. Plus the room (king suite) was fantastic, too!

Had a wonderful time at hotel zenas rooftop. Bruno our waiter was amazing so attentive and had great recommendations on food. Definitely ask for Bruno next time at the rooftop bar! Had such a nice night. Would coke back for sure!

We loved the Zena DC. We will definitely go back there. Our room was very quiet, with a view, all techs available. Comfortable and luxury linen. Excellent front desk attitude and abilities to answer any question and requirement. A high quality hotel indeed.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Hotel Zena this past weekend while in town for a wedding. It was incredible - highly recommend. Excellent location, very walkable. The best part was by far the SERVICE. It seems now days so many people in guest facing roles are just not personable... not here. In particular, Dong & Geta made everything so special. They always greeted us with a smile and were extremely helpful. Especially after our Sunday flight was cancelled, we came crawling back to the hotel upset and Dong didn't skip a beat in booking us for one more night - with an upgrade! The rooms are so cool with amazing views of Logan Circle. WE also recommend having dinner at Zena's sister hotel down the road - Dovetail @ Viceroy Washington DC. The food is excellent and once again, service is unbeatable. We can't recommend this hotel enough - definitely stay here next time you're in DC.…

The hotel is in the heart of DC and close to everything. Staff was very polite and helpful. Always felt our stay was important to them. Dessale was great taking care of my car and helping with questions. The room (2 double beds) was clean and very inviting. The decor is modern with some flair. The bathroom was a unique design with a pocket door and walk-in shower. While I loved this design, it isn’t the most parent/kid friendly bathroom. Blurred silhouette of the person in the shower is visible in the room. We were there for a wedding on the roof top…amazing view and food. It was a great experience (minus the shower) and will plan another stay soon….without my kids. 😉

I travel for a living, and this was one of the worse experiences I've had pre and post-pandemic. The lobby is tired and worn down. The restaurant was beyond slow (on two separate occasions), and those working there were brusque, plus there was no coffee on the weekends when the place was closed! Text messages were left unanswered, and when I did speak to someone, they were not equipped with the knowledge to answer simple questions. The rooms were nice but warm, and the shower was super slick. Further, the shower went from hot to cold within seconds; we had two rooms, and the same was true for both. The empowerment theme was excellent, as was the rooftop bar. However, there are several better places to stay.
