The Paradise Pier is essentially an overpriced version of a Holiday Inn. The rooms are ok, but nothing special. We had a non-functioning thermostat which I reported at the start of our 4 day stay. It was still non-functioning when we checked out. The hotel is convenient to the Disney Attractions and occupancy gives you access to a special gate...

Having spent several week long vacations at Disney World, I was not sure what to expect for our first trip to Disneyland. I knew that Disneyland would be a very different experience and I did not have high expectations. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! We booked a Premium View Room with Concierge Service (room 1418). The view...

The only reason Paradise Pier doesn't rate excellent overall is the price; this fun, family-friendly hotel (although less expensive than the Grand California) will definitely put a dent in your budget. However, the perks, starting with the location, make it a great choice for any stay at Disneyland and California Adventure! The hotel is breezy fun from the moment you...

Just returned from a 4 night stay with our 7 year old and 1 year old sons. We arrived at 11:30am and checked in immediately. We stayed in room 1200 which had a terrific view of California Adventure. The good: pretty much everything. The hotel room was adequate (maybe the bathroom could have been bigger) but the view was incredible....

We checked in April 6th. We got their early and had to wait which was a real bummer, but expected. Other than that it was perfect! I was expecting some cuter soaps and shampoo bottles. When we visited Disney in Florida, we had cuter stuff. But everything else was wonderful. The pool was really nice! The room was wonderful. We...

Hotel is nice and location is super! Staff are also v efficient - she managed to get us a room when we arrived at 9am even though check-in was supposed to be after 3pm. One major downside - hotel does not provide drinking water so you have to buy your own.

It really could have gone either way, but today turned it into a 5 star rating for customer service. First, the bad. For three days, I thought that any hotel who couldn't regulate shower temperature for a 10 minute shower deserved 1 star. The shower changed temperatures every couple of minutes and it was a small nuissance, but if Hilton...

We didn't think the extra walk from The Grand to Paradise was a big deal. We enjoyed our room with a view but the elevator situation was sometimes a wait and crowded. Also the concierge lounge was crowded at times. For the price I think we would definitely try it again I'd in the area.

We stayed here for two nights last week. We were on the 7th floor. The room was a little cramped with 2 adults and 2 teenagers, but it was quiet and the location was fantastic. It was even quiet during our rest time in the afternoon. We will stay here again.

Rooms are good size and we fit four comfortably. Frig. 5 minute walk to downtown Disney. 5 or so to California adventure, 10 to disneyland. Get in an hour early to both dependent on day- the only way to get on the Cars ride without waiting. Pool area is nice.
