Hotel's Favourite
Stayed here for a business trip and couldn’t be happier. The rooms and the hotel in general is very clean, other guests were respectful, and the staff are very friendly.
Safety wise, we felt very safe. We went out for food and came back after dark and din’t feel unsafe, and we also had to leave for business at 4:40am and it still felt very safe. The parking lot is well lit and there are plenty of security cameras around the lot. You can see security cameras all over the public spaces of the hotel and the side doors are all locked and accessible with a hotel key. There was also a sign on the front doors that said you needed a key or to ring for the front desk at night. It all just feels very secure.
The breakfast is complimentary and is generally good. There was bacon, eggs, waffles, oatmeal, and baked goods to choose from. It’s what I would expect for a free breakfast, and I can’t complain.
We were lucky enough to get a room with a view of the mountains, which was amazing. The areas around the hotel were quiet, clean, and have plenty of options for food. The hotel was easy to find with great signage, and you’re right off of I-210/Foothill Freeway and it didn’t feel like it at all. A really quiet area, which was great.
It’s a really great hotel and I would highly recommend staying here if you’re coming to the area.

My family and I stayed at the Hampton inn hotel. We were extremely satisfied with cleanliness, comfort, and location 30 mins from universal studios and 17 mins from raging waters. The beds were comfy too!!

Amenities overall clean, there’s Lysol disinfectant wipes readily available near doors and elevators. Entrance requires hotel key or you will need to page the front desk. There is only house keeping upon request. I was told to place soiled towels on the floor outside my room and someone will return with new ones. Hotel is near San Anita Race track, shopping mall, a few miles from Sprouts, Trader Joe’s, across from BJs, Olive Garden, Tokyo Wako, a variety of world wide mom and pop cuisines (middle eastern, Asian, (Chinese and South East) a few spas for relaxation as well. Centralized to Downtown LA, Pasadena, Fairplex Pomona, areas I am required to be near for business. Air conditioning unit is noisy. Linens, Bedding is clean and comfortable. Bathroom is bright. Convenient microwave and refrigerator. Free coffee and tea in room as well from 7am-10am in the lobby where complimentary grab and go breakfast boxes are. Inside the brown box is a Yoplait yogurt, a Nature Valley granola bar, Philadelphia cream cheese and individually wrapped bagel. The beverage station has 2 dark roast brew, 1 hot water for a variety of Bigelow teas, Quaker instant Oatmeal, Swiss Miss Cocoa. Staff is friendly and accomodating. May one day a continental breakfast can include hot food items it once has before. Thank You Hampton Inn and Staff. See you again possibly next month.

Stayed the night of 3/6/2021 - a Saturday.
After checking in to our King bedded room there was a party going on in the next door room with louder than normal music. We also discovered the toilet wouldn’t flush. We were given a 2 queen room which was much quieter but it was clear this hotel is used by younger people - 20 somethings - as a party place. The front desk woman indicated that Saturdays are problematic for this hotel.
The second room was more worn than usual for a Hilton property and the overall impression of the hotel was that it was of a lower quality than what we’ve normally experienced which is disappointing.
For sone reason the hotel’s doors are locked 24/7 which may have to do with the location... not sure. We didn’t feel unsafe but perhaps they have had problems in the past.
The staff was professional and covid appropriate. The breakfast was inferior to any other Hampton we’ve stayed at during the pandemic. I requested at least some fruit options, something Whole grain it at least Raisin Bran cereal as alternative options found forward.
I won’t be staying here again.

The quality of service at this Hampton Inn has definitely gone down since the pandemic began. Staff remain friendly and personable, but one confessed that the manager is "cutting costs any way possible." This Hampton Inn serves only a brown bag with a fruit cocktail cup in heavy syrup, 2 carbs, and a bottle of water; if you ask, you can get 1 yoghurt and/or a breakfast burrito (mostly carb), but no fruit or other nutritious foods. Coffee/tea is only available 7-10 am. We just traveled cross-country and stayed at much smaller motels which have found ways to serve a decent breakfast with eggs and fresh fruits whilel exceeded pandemic safety standards. Hampton, you can do much better!

Unfortunately you cannot go below 1 star. Our reservation was a mess and a headache. Due to carnivorous travel bans and flights cancellations I was not able to be present at check in because of uncontrollable factors. My partner who was also staying in the room was able to make it but the hotel more then double our booked rate because I couldn't be there despite the reservation being reserved through his personal credit card which he had with him. After locking the digital key which is a stranded use in Hilton they made him come to the front desk and took his credit card and ID to put on their copy machine and print out copies without his consent. After the made copies of his personal information and his Credit card they did not even care to give a reason as to why or what in the world they would do with it. Which makes absolutely no sense since his card was booked with the reservation and already on the computer(they had all that information before he even first came). He should never of even of had to give his card as his digital key already has checked him in and payed for the rate + incidentals. After calling to try and get an explanation as to what they did with copies of our CC and IDs the front desk kept referring to the GM but we never heard anything from her or she was "Out of her Office". Who knows what they did that we don't know about. We later found out that they did not credit Hilton Honors points as the name was changed but failed to notify me that they completely changed our reservation. Between making illegal copies of a credit card and ID without consent from a guest and more the doubling the price it's hard to ever recommend this place to anyone.

When we arrived we were told the hot water would out and would be back on at 6pm. Two of us had to take cold showers the next morning because there was still hot water. The third person in our party had to go to a family members room to be able to take a hot shower.

Stayed 5 nights while attending the Rose Parade in near by Pasadena. This Hampton is located right off the 210 Freeway at Huntington and about 1 mile from Santa Anita Horse Track and Shopping Center.
The room, King Bed, was good size and had a good bathroom with walk-in shower and lots of counter space. Breakfast was good with Waffles,Eggs, cereal, etc. The hotel had bags available with a bagel, fruit and water to take while going to the Rose Parade due to having to leave before breakfast started at 6:30 am. The staff was mostly good, cordial and answered any questions that we had. There are no laundry machines at the Hampton and they have an arrangement with the Residence Inn next door to use their laundry room.
There are many restaurants in the area and plenty of shopping.

Stayed here with my family for 5 days. Our room seemed to be clean as I thought. The mattress does need replacing, I could feel the springs as I sat or slept in the bed. The towels may need replacing, they were dingy. The very next morning I noticed old toothpaste stuck in the bathroom sink. This is a pet peeve of mine, I immediately called the front desk who offered to have housekeeping clean it but we would need to leave the room or move us to another room. I had already unpacked everything and told the front desk I would move to another room that night. We ended up staying in the room because it was too much work to pack up and then have to unpack again. Slow elevator. On our last day, while I was on my way to return the bellman cart I noticed housekeeping cleaning the side door. I waved at her to get her attention so I could go inside and she ignored me. I waved a second time and she mumbled “I’m cleaning the door.” I politely walked away and left the cart there.
Pool was nice and clean, you must reserve by calling the front desk. There was plenty of parking, but it does fill up by night time. Location is great, near restaurants, grocery, and shopping.

Just returned from a two night stay at this Hampton Inn. First time to this hotel, but not to the area.
Room was a decent size and fairly clean, had all the typical amenities you need. The hotel was for some reason, sold out for the weekend and the breakfast area, which is very small, was packed. Keep that in mind if you have issues being in close and confined spaces. Food was typical, not very good nor was the selection varied.
Only one staff member seemed very happy to have his job, all others did not seem happy at all. Our room the first night was very quiet, the second, not so much when a horrible family decided to enter the room next door at midnight and talked, laughed and slammed the door for hours.

I agree with all the responses. Not far, but far enough where it will take some time and on NYD you may well be hiking over a mile once you park before you can see any part of the parade.
Although by milage probably 12, thats st least 35 minutes LA driving
Sorry, don't know.
Did not go to the track but do not recall buses in the parking at any time.
