Everything worked well for us, other than the doors sometimes, it was a little janky to get them to open with the room key. Comfy room for four lads crashing for a night! Was sad that the breakfast room wasn't open but that is very understandable given the current covid situation.
The room was in an overall run-down condition. Additionally, there was only 1 nightstand. No nightstand lights at all. The one light associated with the switch was inadequate. For the bed, there were 2 small square throw pillows provided. I requested more pillows and was told there were no more anywhere in the hotel. The top sheet was torn. The mattress seemed comfortable. Front desk staff inept. Next time we will stay at Motel 6 next door. We will not stay at this place again.
I'm staying at the hotel as I'm writing this and we have 5 crackheads outside the hotel and to top that off they are also staying at the hotel while selling drugs inside the hotel. YOU CANT TELL ME THE HOTEL STAFF DOESN'T KNOW. WTF!!!
Needs to be renovated badly and cleaned! Stains on bathroom walls (gross). Very old gross tub. I'm shocked this place is allowed to be open to the public. Shame on you Red Lion for stealing folks money. Renovate or close your doors.
I stayed there 5 Nights... The First day there I Took a shower and when finished I grabbed a towel and while drying off I noticed a big ball of red hair attached to my towel...I have short blond hair! It looked like a ball of hair from a brush..( Disgusting way to start my stay there!! The next morning I was informed that there is no longer a complementary breakfast for guests staying at the Hotel. However they still have that advertised "Free Complimentary Breakfast with your stay" eating breakfast out every day is at least $10.00 with tax and tip!!! They are engaging in false advertising!!! and still are!! Also My 3rd night there a large and very loud party took place in the Hotel parking lot with about 20 people just outside my window LOUD MUSIC, DRINKING AND FILTHY LANGUAGE!! Just what I want to experience and pay good money for at a Hotel!! The Sheriff finally showed up and tole then to turn The music off and go inside... They did so until They Sheriff left and then came back out and went back at it albeit No where near as loud as before. The next day there was a couple big trash bag size piles of trash in the parking lot and it stayed there ALL DAY LONG!!!! Hotel employee's walked past it all day long... The next late morning it was finally cleaned up. Also, My Hotel room bathroom had a fair about of dirt scuffs on the walls and buildup of dust in the corners of the floor and behind the toilet which could be seen without kneeling down and looking for it. No excuse for that amount of dust and grime in the bathroom!! I liked the Layout and location of the Hotel and other immunities but all that was over shadowed by The several major issues I stated here.…
