We came to Avalon for a family gathering and reserved the "whole house" at the Old Turner Inn. It worked perfect for us to be able to use the living and dining areas to talk, play cards and assemble jigsaw puzzles (one each day!) Kathleen was a helpful host and the location was very convenient. We definitely would stay there...

Staying on Avalon had been on our bucket list since the 70s when we were students in Southern California, so when we were finally able to plan a getaway to Avalon, we chose the perfect spot: the Old Turner Inn. We were dumb, though, to only book one night at the Inn. We should have booked several nights! The delicious,...

From pre-arrival to departure we were totally informed. Inn was cozy and comfortable, very clean. Tasty appetizers and wine in the afternoon. Breakfast was wonderful. The owner, Kathleen, was very helpful. Mostly, if she recommends something, DO IT! She really knows what she is talking about

Found The Old Turner Inn on Trip Advisor and booked the Queen Suite. Easy walking distance from the ferry. Arrived and had a nice note waiting for us to go right upstairs and check into our room. A very quaint, historic inn minutes from the main street, yet was very quiet and. Very comfortable room with a fire place and...

Beautiful Victorian B&B! Kathleen is a wonderful hostess and serves delicious breakfast meals! She is very knowledgeable about the island, activities and it's history. We had such a great time on the island we extended our stay. Will be returning again!

My boyfriend and I spent a night at the Old Turner Inn and had a wonderful experience!! Kathleen was there to greet us when we arrived (check in is at 2:00pm, but our room was ready when we arrived at 10:00am) and made some great suggestions for local fun and food. When we arrived on the island we rented a...

First time on the island and first time staying at a bed and breakfast -- and I could not have asked for a better experience. I was looking for one night accommodations to celebrate turning the big 3-0, and it was a rather stressful experience searching for a place that would allow me (and some possible friends) to stay for...
