We rented two rooms at the Old Turner Inn. The beds were incredibly comfortable--reminded me of the beds we slept in on a Norwegian cruise one summer. The Inn is conveniently located and Kathleen does a great job seeing to the comfort of her guests. The breakfast was wonderful too. I highly recommend this B & B.

I loved every minute. From the moment we walked in to the minute we left, there was just warmth and welcome all around. Kathleen and her family have been on the island a long time (since childhood?) and know everything to know about the island. She gave my fiance and I great recommendations. The trip wouldn't have been the same...

On April 2nd 2015, my wife, daughter and I stayed at this lovely inn. Kathleen was able to accomodate us for a night's stay in the master suite. The suite was spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the hospitality provided by the inn and enjoyed the breakfast provided (we missed the appetizers at night due to late arrival and check-in). The...

Old Turner Inn is what a bed and breakfast should be: charming, comfortable accommodations; very nice rooms and amenities (bedside candy, sherry); inviting public area (parlor, breakfast porch); pleasant, helpful staff (Roger); and BREAKFAST!!!! It's so refreshing to stay at a bed and breakfast where the breakfast isn't cereal and juice, or Costco muffins. Homemade bread pudding was a such...

Every time I stay at The Old Turner Inn the service, hospitality and ambiance is superb. I have come to expect this from them and they have never failed to deliver. Just when I think it cant get better they surprise me and they top my last visit.

wonderful on all counts - great room, homey and comfortable with real California art on the walls. Kathleen has a great history with her parents and grandparents on the Island. Great stories! You don't get that individual touch, authentic experience at a 'corporate' hotel. No false Glam. Best hostess ever, helpful and full of information. and she makes a killer...

The Old Turner Inn is just a few hundred yards from the Green Pier and all that makes up Avalon. It offers a glimpse of everyday Avalon life from morning and into the night. It is only a few hundred feet from most tour and activity departures and just a little further to the shopping and nightlife. Kathleen and company...

Avalon can be loud and frenetic. The Old Turner Inn is a gem. Lovely, well appointed and quiet rooms. The owner, Kathleen, offers a wealth of knowledge that will ensure the best Catalina experience. Her recommendations for; a florist, massage, dining and hiking were all outstanding.

From the moment we made our reservations to the morning we left, Kathleen was extremely welcoming, and helpful with numerous suggestions of things to do! We felt as if we had made a new friend! The wine and different yummy hors d'oeuvres each night were a real treat, as well as the delicious breakfasts. We felt right at home, yet...

My first time to Catalina island, staying at the Old Turner Inn made our stay welcoming and charming, felt like we were home away from home, waking up to a delicious breakfast, and the inn's homemade granola! yummy, brought a few bags home. Conveniently located near restaurants, shops, nightlife and the harbor area. Will definitely be back soon.
