Stayed here for a long weekend get away and it was really peaceful. Had to book one of the larger accommodations at the top of the hill. This was a super fun spa experience. Spa is outdoors among trees. The water smells like chlorine. Staff was friendly, and accommodating. The gift shop was filled with fun trinkets. If I ever need a gift for anyone I will surely remember this place.

The Avila Hot Springs "Resort" website promises "rustic, dry camping". True, if you consider camping in a dirt parking lot camping. We had a good time & staff was very friendly and helpful. But I do have one complaint, they lock the restrooms to early & don't open them until 8am. They do have a portable restroom but it's for the whole campsite.
