They had me at hello. The staff is friendly and the hotel is a craftsman style gem. As you enter, you see wooden beams and a massive stone fireplace. We had a package that included delicious local wine and our room had a jaccuzzi tub. Make sure to put in a reservation for the bicycles, if you want to use...

The property is clean and well maintained. Room was a little dated style wise, but furnishings were in very good condition. An upgraded mattress would be my only recommendation to the hotel. It just wasn't super comfortable. The jacuzzi on the deck is nice but a little small for two, and since the deck is narrow, it felt cramped. It's...

We travel up the coast often from Santa Barbara for a night and had never stayed here before. I bought a discounted night at the last minute and wow, I was pleasantly surprised and wished I had known about this place before! The spa king suite we had was perfect - attractive balcony with a new hot tub and tree...

Birthday celebration for my husband. Was great in every way. Can use bicycles, athletic club and spa and right next to Bob Jones trail that takes you to the Avila Beach pier. It winds through the golf course. Beautiful scenery

This was a charming boutique hotel in relaxing Avila Beach. We did get a discounted rate on Travelzoo which made the value exceptional. The complimentary continental breakfast was substantial and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Access to the Athletic Club next door with their pool, tennis courts and workout rooms along with the location on the Bob Jones...

Avila Village Inn is tucked away in an area that includes a day spa, a gated community, and a small market. It looks very upscale when you first enter this community area and you're not quite sure what to expect. When you park your car and walk through the main door you're greeted by friendly staff, a large stone fireplace,...

The whole Avila beach area is beautiful. The room was very comfortable especially with the private hot tub on the balcony sipping on a glass of wine and watching the stars at night. The continental breakfast was delicious and very fulfilling. The Inn had every thing you need for a vacation.

Great staff, very nice hotel, new/remodeled bathrooms and rooms. The rooms are very private, comfortable, and cozy. Loved the Jacuzzi on the patio! Complimentary breakfast was simple but satisfactory. The grounds are beautiful and you are right in the center of nature. We were there last weekend to chase after the SLO Cow Parade statues and enjoy some wineries, and...

From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming with a cookie and bottle of wine. Perfect. Next day, we walked and biked on the trail that is right behind our hotel and lead to the ocean or way down to the highway. Both ways was wonderful. The spa on our patio was a perfect way to soothe our...

The Avila Village Inn is couples-focused. We stayed in a room overlooking the trail behind the inn. The room had a king-sized bed, gas fireplace, walk-in shower, mini-fridge/wet bar area, and a hot tub on the balcony. Being on the second floor, we had privacy from those on the trail. The continental breakfast was filling (yogurt, muffins, bagels, hard-boiled eggs,...
