I've been going up to the Conejos Ranch for over 20 years and have always stayed in the Cedar cabin! It's not huge but has all the comforts and still let's you feel like you are in the mountains and not in a town home! I have always caught fish on the Conejos River right in front of the cabins...and...

we had a wonderful stay, we went fishing, hiking, made s'mores by the fire pit and went on a single gage rail train ride on the Combres and Toltec railway! my son loved the sheep, goats and donkeys that are on the ranch!

We arrived one week after season opening. First of all they gave away the room that we had reserved months before. The "suite" that they put us in was terribly hot because the baseboard heater in the bathroom must have been on all winter and never turned off. The toilet was full of dirt, I had to clean it myself,...

We love this place. We have been going here for 20 years. The fishing is great and there are no crowds. However, the cook in the lodge has some things to learn and the desk clerk could be a little more gracious. It is rustic, not a 5 star hotel. But we continue to go because it seems so homey...

The cook tried hard so the food was edible. Only one other couple there. We stayed in the dusty buggy Taos room in the lodge. Tacky, tacky, and haggard Maybe 100 weird stuffed animals with giant eyes everywhere. For Sale signs in every room...it is areal fixer upper. We enjoyed the fire pit by the river. No supervision...so we found...

We arranged for a late check-in for 10 pm. Nobody around when we arrived. We called phone several times with no answer. We waited 30 minutes then took the keys on the counter and went to the Loft Room. Room does not come close to meeting NFPA CODE. Light switch is mounted so low that it interferes with handrail. Bedside...

We stayed in the Cottonwood cabin for four nights. The property was run down and in need of updating. First of all the mattresses in the bed were awful. They were hard and lumpy. The cabin had a full kitchen which was nice as we cooked in the cabin. The drawers and cabinets were dirty and disorganized. There was notification...

We stayed in the Sierra Vista Cabin and had a wonderful time. The cabin was very large and had ample amenities. The price was very affordable as well. The property was well maintained and had a quaint old school homey charm. All we had to do was bring food, and we were able to feel like we lived in beautiful...

We came to conejos for a holiday weekend away to relax and fly fish. There is no explaining the beautiful piece of real estate this ranch sits on. The meals at the restaurant are generous and filling and included in the price of staying in the lodge. However, the lodge itself appears to have not been updated or maintained since...

We stayed here for just two nights as it seemed the only reasonable option for access to the Cumbres &Toltec Railroad trip we made. Despite the Ranch clearly advertising both on the website and locally as having a ‘full service’ restaurant we were informed on our arrival that evening (29th September) was the last time they were serving dinner before...
