This place was appealing online for the price and proximity to itchnetucknee.
I arrived with my boyfriend to find a ton of people who obviously live here outside partying. First bad sign.

I stayed in this hotel on my way to Gainesville. Had I known what I was walking into I would have driven the extra 20 minutes down the road. The front desk clerk was friendly, but acted kind of childish. He was not very professional....More
Room was "just okay" and although they had a sign up saying "Free Continental Breakfast" it should have said "free cereal" as that is about all there was besides 4 muffins. Nothing to drink but milk, no bread for toast, no fruit or yogurt. If...More
Sleep in your car. The only reason we stayed was because it was 3:30 in the morning and we had already driven too far. The room was filthy. Cigarette ashes in the bathroom sink. Chest of drawers broken. Not sure if the sheets or towels...More

This motel is NOT run by Americans! The people are from INDIA! When I asked them WHO owned the place they told me that they didn't know! Again, the only home grown person I saw working there is the scummy looking guy that was cleaning the rooms.

It seems to me that his employees SHOULD have known how to contact him, but they stated that they DIDN'T know who the owner is! If this well educated Floridian wants to "get this property on the right track" he must first clean the dirty mattresses and fixtures in each room and have the whole place fumigated to get rid of the bed bugs! My brother (a diabetic) has bites that are infected and has a doctor's appointment to have them treated. I have pictures of the bugs and stained and torn sheets that he will use if a lawsuit is made against the owner. The woman at the desk told me that she has seen bed bugs in that property and in India and that she didn't think what I had in the room were bed bugs!( I have pictures and they match the pictures on Google of bed bugs) Being at "the end of his off season" is a pathetic excuse for the conditions there! Needless to say I have contacted the authorities to have that place inspected! I will let you know what their report states!
