From the moment when the company rep met me at the airport upon my arrival until the end of the final day when we were dropped off back on the mainland at our hotel this trip & all the staff were wonderful. Our 2 guides, Roo & Roger were informative, professional & always looking out for our safety whether we...

My husband and I spent a week on this beautiful island with Island Expeditions. It was one of our favorite vacations ever! We loved all of the activities - snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding. The food was amazing - fresh and delicious and varied - thank you Bol and Freddie! Our guides: Bryan, Clint, Terrance and Pablo were all fantastic...

Island Expeditions is really on top of things for you. As my husband doesn't care to snorkel as much as I do I have made 5 trips down to both Glover's Reef & Lighthouse by myself. There is always someone there to pick me up take me to the hotel, gets things taken care. Never have had any problems with...

Our visit to Lighthouse Reef Resort was the highlight of our trip to Belize. Each day was a different adventure. We loved the snorkeling, kayaking, kayak sailing and fishing. There are so many great sites to snorkel that are right off the island. The night snorkel was awesome and not too scary at all. Our visit to the Aquarium and...

We visited the reef and half moon caye on our day out to the Blue Hole and to dive the Aquarium. The island was beautiful and for me seeing the red footed Booby birds was an extra treat! There is a sea turtle nesting area but the Audubon Society does a fantastic job as caretakers of this area and island....

To celebrate some significant birthdays, 12 female friends and I embarked on an epic adventure to Half Moon Caye, Lighthouse Reef, Belize with Island Expeditions. Half Moon Caye is the outermost atoll of the Belize Barrier Reef system and lies more ten 50 miles offshore. It is a protected marine area by the Audubon Society and IE has been allowed...

Guests stay in tents on wooden platforms, right on the beach. When it's windy the tents are noisy, but it's worth it. The island is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. There's a bird sanctuary at one end; you can see nesting boobies and frigate birds from just a few feet away. The snorkelling off the island...

Island Expeditions really has every detail perfected if you are looking for an active yet relaxing back to nature adventure. The people, the food, the activities, the scenery, and of course the scuba and snorkeling were incredible. Thank you for clearing my head and freeing my mind.

I participated in an eight day trip with Island Expeditions to Half Moon Caye on Lighthouse Reef. This was my second trip with Island Expeditions. I had travelled to Glover's Reef a few years before. Island Expeditions is an amazing organization. They are well-organized and put the experience of their guests above all else. There were 17 people in our...

This was our first trip to Belize and we went with 8 other friends in their 70s. It was wonderful. It is funny that it comes up as a "resort" as in fact it is 10 high wall tents on a wooden base and good beds inside. One walks to the composting toilet ( clean and efficient) dodging the hermit...
