I have travelled all over the world staying in Hostels and this one is by far the worst!
Cold/dirty showers, rude owner, right next to airport, Wednesday night party till 2am!
We booked a twin room, which was ok, small but what you'd expect from...More
Our stay was extremely disappointing and we left angry. Located right next to the airport, the noise of planes waking you up in the morning is really irritating. Although the property is advertised with showers, it is just cold showers which if we knew we...More
This backpacker hostel is a nightmare. The private room with 2 single beds was so small you could barely walk between the two beds let alone spread out your luggage. After complaining,we were moved to a room with 2 bunkbeds and a single bed.Although we now had...More
This is one of the better Hostel's that I have stayed in the last 3 years. It is designed more like a warehouse than a hotel but it is inexpensive and clean. it has two pools and a bar / restaurant within 50 steps from...More
Very small rooms with no place to put anything around. Forget about sleeping on Wednesday’s and Fridays. No one gives you a solution, the room is trembling, the noisy is extreme and no one cares about it. I suggest you to spend a little more...More

Yes, you can ask for a quiet room. Contact the hotel now with your request as March is a busy time of year. The phone number and email address is on their website. They will also give you the cost of a golf cart (when I was there last it was $25 a day) and you can get anywhere on the island with one. You can also rent a bike and get most places on that. No mosquito net is needed but you do need mosquito spray, with deet. Pedro's is one block off the beach and you can snorkel of two docks that are within 1/4 mile of the hotel. You can snorkel there at any time. To get to the coral reef, about a mile off shore, you will need to go with a tour-contact Seaduced. Pedro's can set all that up for you.
