I'm not sure this hotel qualifies as a resort. There are two pools on the property although one is quite small. The beach area does not have sand that extends to the water - there is a concrete barrier that you need to walk around to actually get into the water. The rooms were pretty clean but in need of...

A huge banana shaped ceviche for the family; space for the children to run and pool for them to turn into ducks; soft tender beds for restful nights - divine dining from the restaurant -El Divino; the beach at your room doorstep for a salty transformation - family union family fun family excitement and fun banana style - and service,...

Can't say anything about the resort itself but I was there recently to have a late dinner with friends. The ceviche is fantastic! Highly recommend. Atmosphere is laid back and friendly. Darker, with big comfy couches. Feels somewhat like a good friends living room. Great hangout after the suns gone down.

Clean & quiet. Only A/C in the bedroom. They do not provide clean drinking water. Very basic place to stay. If you just want somewhere to sleep and it is not that warm out then this is the place for you.

My friend and I stopped here for her birthday dinner. The food and drinks were great and our server, Jeff was so friendly and attentive and he even had brought out a nice birthday dessert for my friend. The patio seating was lovely and we couldn't have asked for better service. A++

We have been going to Belize for about 12 years now and we choose to always stay at Banana Beach. The rooms are always clean, pool area is nice and the people are amazing. Looking forward to going back in December 2016

This was a very nice hotel! The hotel property was very nice and well cared for. It has two pools; a decent restaurant, and my room was large, clean, and very comfortable. What I liked most was when you walked out the back of the hotel you were on the beach. Only downsides...very poor internet connection, quite a walk to...

My two daughters and I stayed at Banana Beach for five nights. We found it to be a decent "resort," and a good value. Our courtyard suite was good-sized. It is truly "courtyard." Not even a sliver of the ocean. It includes a tiny balcony. It is nice that Monkey Business tour shop is located on-site. They can book all...

Stayed in April 2016 with family. We had a large ground floor suite with 1 bedroom and sitting area with pullout couch and kitchen. Easily can sleep 5. The beach was a few steps away. However, like most places in San Pedro beaches have a lot of seaweed. Beds were comfortable with AC. Nice hot water in the shower at...

My friend and I recently stayed at the Banana Beach Resort and couldn't have been more satisfied, we only had a little trouble with the internet after a storm and the Island temporarily lost power, The staff was excellent and very friendly, I will definitely stay again in the future, even the maintenance staff was prompt and courteous, I need...
