Nice guest house overlooking the sea. Reasonably sized room which was clean and comfortable. The outdoor kitchen is useful for those on a budget. Well placed on the island and a short walk from everything you need. Would stay again

The hostel was already very good: big outdoor kitchen, VERY affordable rooms, happiest receptionist. But then we found a couple others: the dock out front is beautiful and solely for blue wave guests, which is awesome considering how little we paid. Also, if you dive with Frenchies diving, you receive a 10% discount (at least as of November 2015). Overall... More

We had carefully selected Blue Wave Guesthouse for our stay on Caye Caulker and booked it in May (=7 months ahead) for New Years Eve for 5 nights. It was our budget and the reviews were great. Upon our arrival on Dec 31st the lady didn't say anything at first, the looked into the room that we had a reservation... More

We stayed at Blue Wave for 10 days with our 4 children. My husband and I rented one of the basic rooms with the shared bathrooms and as well as the boys. The girls had one of the mid range rooms with their own bathroom. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. We loved the outdoor kitchen and cooked quite a... More

We recently stayed at Blue Wave with our 4 kids and wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else. It's centrally located near the split and very affordable. The owners are very nice and accommodating. Their grandson, who was a wealth of knowledge about the island hung out and played with our kids almost every day. I can't recommend Blue wave... More

This is a perfect option for travellers of all budget types. The outdoor kitchen is a great touch and they even updated parts of it while we were staying there. The rooms were a decent size and the front garden area was kept clean. There is a private dock for you to enjoy your morning coffee or some afternoon beers.... More

We love the Blue Wave Guest Hotel!!! The location on Caye Caulker is perfect and the accommodations are very nice. They do update the hotel and keep it very nice. It is not extravagant but very comfortable. As is everywhere in Belize, you need to be patient because the motto is "Go Slow"!!!!! So take that into consideration when you... More

I was fortunate enough to stay in this guest house since I happened to meet friends in caye caulke, so we decided not to stay in a hostel, but to share a hotel room. The guest house is well managed, quiet, directly opposite the beach and has its own jetty for viewing the sunrise. It is centrally located. Hot showers... More

We were staying here for three nights, 11th, 12th and 13th April 2015. The guest house is situated in the main street, so we were afraid of the noise but don't worry! It is quiet and peaceful there. It is close to all the places you need on holidays. The place is excellent, pleasant and very clean. We had a... More

We had a fan room right on the waterfront which was fine and didn't pay the extra for the air con so was pretty cheap. Rooms were very clean and tidy and staff were helpful. You get a discount of 10% on frenchies diving but not for the blue hole. Wifi was good
