Great organization, superb location to dive sites, great Chef and super friendly and helpful staff. Stayed a week, felt like family, definitely love to stay longer next time! One thing though dive guide took camera to diving while taking care of our group. And mosquitoes is a big issue, though they spray twice for the week I stayed there.

Huracan Lodge is nestled among coconut palms on an island surrounded by perhaps the most pristine and richest aqua-blue waters in the Caribbean. No cars, roads or towns (there's just one other place to stay - much bigger), Huracan is one of the few places I know that is gloriously natural and environmentally thoughtful. The Lodge. The furnishings were clearly...

This is a great place to stay if you are diving enthusiasts and want to dive the Blue Hole, especially if you are short of time. We were very short of time and this was the only practical option for us. The alternatives we looked at were going from Belize City or Ambergris Caye but frankly I would not recommend...

Just finished my week long stay at Huracan Diving and I had an incredible experience. First, the eco-resort is located about 2 hours by boat from Belize city so access from the airport is simple. I was greeted at the dock by the owner Bernard, dive master Victoria and boat captain Ed. The resort is a well kept eco style...

Great diving lodge! Amazing facilities, staff and of course diving! The location makes so much difference, just 5 minutes away from many great diving sites off Lighthouse Reef, and just 12 minutes away from the Blue Hole! We came as guests and left as family :)

I stayed at Huracan with a couple of friends for a week in January. The experience was excellent. The hotel itself is a beautiful solid wood, former hurricane shelter. The food was amazing -- a highlight. Our dive master was knowledgeable (with 7,000+ dives under his weight belt!). All the staff were friendly and engaged. The local dive sites were...

Huracan is located 10-15 minutes from the Blue Hole and Halfmoon Caye. We had a week of diving in a small group (3-4) with quick access to these great dive sites. We didn't see another diver until the last day. Aside from the Blue Hole expect to see lots of sharks and eagle rays. The accommodations are spacious, elegant and...

This is the ideal location for diving some of the best sites in Belize. Long Caye is no more than 15 minutes from a number of dive sites including the blue hole...most are even closer, so you return to the island between dives and maximise both your diving and relaxing time. Waaaay better than the live-aboard option and huracan is...

Huracane Diving is the best place you can go for diving : best location, best spots to dive, very good equipment and amazing dive masters. But the experience doesn't stop after the dives, far from it! The lodge is fabulous - I lived in Belize, and I can say that the esthetic and comfort of the lodge is the best...

Huracan was a wonderful experience for our family!! Our sons (13 & 17 yrs) had so much fun diving and exploring. We all enjoyed getting to know the other 6 guests and the helpful staff. Of course, diving the nearby reefs was incredible and swimming with a dolphin was pretty magical! As parents and new divers we also really appreciated...

“Don't hesitate to stay at the Itza Lodge if Huracan is full. The rooms are great. It's a 2 minutes walk to Huracan and it's actually closer to the boat. I didn't eat there so I don't know about the food but I don't see how thay could top Dyron's food.”

“All four rooms in the resort are great. It is a cozy and homey cabin. A heads up though that there are no doors from the bathroom to your bedroom. Also, bring lots of bug spray!”
