Bella's offered a very enjoyable young backpacker experience. Some of my favorite memories include drinking some Belikins on the upper deck with other young travelers from all over the world. The hostel itself offers decent beds, cool showers (refreshing after a hot Central American journey), and great views of San Ignacio.

Back home again, and still find myself back there again in my mind! This is my fourth trip to Belize, and every time I made sure to get back to Bella's, even if for a day or two! This time it was straight to the Cayo, and spent my whole trip with Natasha and the Hosteliers and hostellers! Trips to...

My friend and I shared the private room and really enjoyed our stay. We had our own balcony and shared a comfortable, double bed. We got to our room through the dorms and were directly next to the bathroom. The overall vibe of the hostel was cool. There were a lot of people in their early to mid twenties. The...

Thank you for your review. Yes the shower curtain is most defiantly an issue. I didn't realize when I bought the new set that they were so god awful cheap. We are in the process of changing them. We also imported the cat from the farm so No More Mouses and all there little presents have been cleaned up. Thanks...

Honestly, it broke my heart to leave this place after staying for only four days. I absolutely adored it, the hostel is clean, cozy, the beds are comfortable, I saw no bugs are anything disgusting in the rooms... There's a clean kitchen fully equipped, a couple bathrooms very clean and what I liked the most is what I call the...

Awesome hostel, great staff, perfect location! The owner has great recommendations for all sorts of activities to do! Really awesome hammock hangout spots, rooftop chil zones etc. They make the best coffee in town as well- so if you need that morning pick-me-up, Linda's got you covered. The bathrooms are nice as well- no hot water!

The hostel itself had a really cool layout, I loved the multi-level hangout spots. My husband and I stayed in the private room on the main level. It was alright. Nice having your own bathroom. I wish I would have known there was no mirror or hand soap in the bathroom though, I would have brought my own.. The staff...

Thank you for your review. I am so sorry for your experience. It was a hot Sunday and we just decided to have a BBQ at the farm and invite anyone to join from the hostel. To make it worth your wild for the 30BZ per person to pay gas and food we added the waterfall stop to have a...

Bella's hostel was the most amazing hostel I've ever had the pleasure of staying at through my years of traveling. The owner, Natasha, is throughly knowledgeable about the area and will go the extra mile to tell you the best and cheapest ways to see the city, as well info about hidden gems you won't find in guidebooks or through...

I have no idea how this place has such a good rating on here. They got all the basics wrong. 1. We checked in as a group of 6 guys after booking online. The person at reception was stoned out of her mind, and had trouble checking us in. She was getting frustrated at us for asking basic questions about...

I am so sorry to read your review but I can show you receipts for the new beds purchased just this year. I am truly shocked by your review. I tried a new manager in the last week of December until the end of january. I have already let him and his girlfriend go because of their performance. I am...

Bella's is a nice place to stay in San Ignacio. Right in the center but quiet (though the local birds can get pretty loud in the morning). When I stayed they also just rescued a sweet puppy from the street (some 12 weeks old). The common area has multiple levels which is nice for meeting people. The hammocks on the...

Bella's is a great base to work out of for your San Ignacio adventures. The common areas are vast and welcome conversation, with a large kitchen, great dining table and couches, and an upstairs loft with 4-5 hammocks. The physical structure itself helps create and shape a really great community, one day 14 of us rented a van to Caracol...
