We stayed at the Venus Hotel for 3 nights; it is simple but clean and located on the main strip, close to the bus station. We chose to pay the extra US$15 for AC because it was really hot while were there and it was totally worth it. The only downfall was that the bathroom was not actually a separate...

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was tiny, stuffy and infested with cockroaches. Air con cost $15 per night if it was even fitted in your room. Mould on the walls and ceiling and we couldn't even open the windows. We used this hotel whilst on a Central America tour with Intrepid. Intrepid need...

The service here was excellent and accommodating to the fullest! Wonderful clerks keep the place clean, and the geckos work double-time on keeping the place bug-free. They even let us leave extra baggage behind the counter during our overnight trip out to Tikal for free after we had already checked out. Not an ounce of worry that something bad would...

Of course it's basic it's $33 US a night and that's as cheap as U'll find in Belize hostel prices are about the same and we have a very nice double with two double...

This hotel is super simple. Clean. Trying to update things there. Great price for being on the main square and main street. Comfy beds. You can choose a room with a fan (perfect for me) or with AC. Do the ATM tour if you go! Max's tours is right next door. Great guys!

The tour outfits to nearby ruins, caves, and waterfalls are mostly located on the same road as the Venus Hotel. Most restaurants in the vicinity are located within a five-minute walk. Venus exceeded my expectations. I thought it was very clean, even though looking at the outside you may assume differently.

The room here was average, nothing wrong with it, but not much stands out. The staff was great for every night except the first night, that night a little party of guests and staff went a little late and got a little old. The location was great. From the bus terminal it's two blocks. It's also right on the main...

The whole group was unhappy with this hotel. The rooms were tiny, hot and stuffy. The water was turned off intermittently and cold showers! Upgrades to use the air conditioning were expense. The group thought this was the worst hotel we had stayed in on our trip from Mexico to Guatemala.

Perfect location on the main street with balcony backing onto the town square. Price was very good. Stayed three nights. Room was clean and spacious. There were a couple of problems with the water but you just had to wait a bit and it was fine. Staff was very friendly. Was mostly quiet.
