We found Maka-Kai by asking a local for a campground, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We camped for 3 nights, and the price was $15 USD for the both of us per night. They have a great chilling spot with hammocks, good Wi-Fi, and nice showers. Best of all is the location. In the morning we would walk to...

We spontaneously showed up one day and the Mana-Kai staff graciously took us in. Beautiful area for campers, even a spot to take shelter under when the rains comes - complete with hammocks. We stayed in one of their cabins, which was clean and simple. Great place for people who are on a budget!

What a bargain. We tent camped here on our way to and from Guatemala in September. Great place to set up camp. Friendly staff, walk to town, riverfront, wifi all for a very affordable price. Will be back in Belize in January and will be staying here again.

Stayed here nearly a year ago. For 5$USD put up a hammock under a roof, they have wifi, showers, outdoor kitchen, have us a locker to keep our gear in. Javier is a kind, accommodating man. If I go back to San Ignacio this is where I'll stay. Google maps needs to include this place.

Really cheap option for accommodation in San Ignacio. We camped with our tent. The lawn is flat and nicely grassy all over. There are picnic benches and a kitchen so you can cook your own meals. The showers were warm! And it's right in the middle of the town beside the market. The wifi even worked in the tent! Really...

This place is a large, shaded grassy yard on one side and cabins on the other. There's a shared kitchen, and two bathrooms with good water pressure, kept quite clean. The staff is just so nice, which makes it a better experience always. They've got a TV in a palapa, blazing fast WiFi (seriously, fast!) and being able to walk...

We camped in our campervan for 3 nights at Mana-Kai, conveniently located next to the farmers market. Lots of grass and shady spots. It is a great base to explore the surroundings of San Ignacio. We booked the famous ATM tour through them. Awesome.

I stayed here for a week with a friend. Our cabin was clean and homey. The owner/manager, Javier, is great - always concerned about us and helping to arrange activities. The location is just a couple of blocks from the town center and convenient for restaurants and groceries. One of the cabins had AC when we stayed there, but it...

Great price and location. Got off the bus and walked there in a few min. It has a large lovely garden. In the mornings, if you are lucky, you can see green parrots and toucans! Javier was so helpful. Before my arrival, I asked him some questions over email and he was always prompt in his reply. He organizes great...
