Five stars all the way! Staying at Vanilla Hills is the best choice you'll make when planning your trip to Cayo. The property is incredibly scenic. It's situated close enough to San Ignacio: only a short cab ride away (which they will arrange.) It's quiet and peaceful, and also has all the amenities you would want during your visit. Claudia...

We had a wonderful three night stay. Claudia was amazing - countless tips and suggestions on what to do during our stay, as well as actually booking the tours for us, making restaurant reservations, etc. It all helped to make our visit a big success. And she makes a great breakfast. The cabins are very nice - large, airy and...

Claudia was the perfect host and her and Franklin have created a brilliant experience for people in San Ignacio. We were on our honeymoon and she had our room specially decorated with flowers when we arrived which was a lovely touch. The hospitality from then on was impeccable - they gave us a lift into town on our first night...

The 5 star ratings are accurate. Claudia was so helpful to us during out stay, and Vanilla Hills Lodge is as nice as it looks. Breakfasts were fantastic, and the location so close to San Ignancio was very convenient. Highly recommend.

A friend and I stayed at Vanilla Hills Lodge during a short trip to San Ignacio in December 2016. The hosts were friendly and helpful, offering honest recommendations of local attractions. The treefort-like room we rented far exceeded our expectations. Everything from the scenery and novelty of the accommodation, to fresh flowers in the room, to the lovely warm outdoor...

Claudia & Franklin. These two are a destination in themselves. My family and I (4 of us) started the year off at Vanilla Hills while exploring inland Belize & Tikal. As we were flying back to the frozen central U.S. all we could do is talk about our stay at Vanilla Hills and our withdrawals. I'll brake this review into...

We stayed here over new year and had a fantastic time. The cabins are stunning. Lovely wood and so cosy. Very comfortable for all four of us. Very peaceful. Claudia and Franklin were very welcoming. We had a lovely New Years meal with the other guests. Claudia's cooking was great, although couldn't manage it all. Breakfast was lovely on the...

Claudia and Franklin were incredible hosts. They are building a wonderful oasys in the Jungle outside of San Ignacio. The cabin was gorgeous! The surroundings were gorgeous, quiet and interesting. The breakfasts were completely made from scratch, and truly could not have been better. Every single interest we expressed, Claudia had a recommendation for us. She arranged every detail for...

We had the most incredible stay with Claudia and Franklin. Our Cabin was so beautiful and the flowers everyday by our awesome young Ladies Jessica and her Sister Britney was so appreciated, they also kept our cabin and then the house immaculate during our 2 week stay. Claudia is a great cook, wait till you taste her bread! Franklin and...
