We stayed in cabin 5 for 4 nights. The cabin had a big bed, a own shower and a deck with hammock. Everybody gave us a warm welcome, Marcus arranged our trip to ATM with River Rat directly. Also our trip to Tikal. We had 3 dinners there, they were great! If you`re a vegetarian, ask for the delicious ChoCho...

If you are going to the Cayo district, this is where you should stay. Great location along the banks of the Mopan River. Great breakfasts and dinners and also lots of opportunities for socializing and meeting other travelers staying at the nest. Accommodating staff. If possible, ask for a tour with Teddy.

Some of the best food I had in Belize, even better than much fancier lodges. Marcus is very helpful. This place also just seems to attract interesting, fun people, so dinner here is very enjoyable. Rooms are simple but clean and surprisingly comfortable. A really great value. Very peaceful setting, although the music from across the river interrupted that somewhat...

We only stayed here for 2 nights but I wish it was longer! Waking up in this setting is one of the most peaceful things I've experienced. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Marcus and the dogs were so friendly and made our visit complete.

We had a very nice stay here. The owner is super helpful connecting you with drivers and tours. The food is excellent and plentiful. The vegetarian dinners were awesome. The shared shower up the stairs has a slow drip but the other one was fine. Hot water was a nice surprise. The only downside was the bar across the river...

This lodge is a rare find. It is definitely off the beaten path but sits by a river with funky rooms (actually cottages) and a great dining room. The owner, Theo, is a very gracious hostess, does a lot of the cooking, and is very accommodating. Breakfasts are included, dinners are not, but they are so good, you want to...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Parrot Nest Lodge. If you want to be close to nature and hear the sounds of the jungle at night - this is the place for you. If you are looking for AC and a TV set in your room - this is not the place for you. The cabana we stayed in...

I really wanted to love this place, but after three nights at the Parrot Nest I was very ready to leave. We stayed in a treehouse, which was small though admittedly clean. The area itself is noisy and the beds are uncomfortable. The shared bathrooms were dirty and needed some serious TLC. There was some talk of us having to...

The owners were very helpful and accommodating. They were helpful in arranging local day trips. We went with Tony on a canoeing day trip in which we saw many local birds and wildlife. He is amazing. The food was filling and delicious. It was wonderful to wake up to the sounds of birds calling and chattering. The only reason we...

I found the Parrot's next lodge based on a recommendation from a friend who had visited San Ignacio. We had the best time staying here! We stayed in Cabin 6, which was very quaint with a full bed and two single beds in one room, and an attached bathroom and shower. It was great to have our own little space...
