This resort is very small and quaint in lush surroundings. Although we were traveling with our teenager, it would be an ideal honeymoon spot as there are very few guests and an intimate setting. I would say it is ideal for couples because there is really nothing to do there. We took a 5 minute walk around the resort and saw the vegetable garden which was cool that everything is so fresh but really nothing else to see. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. The pool is very small and mostly shaded so we did not enjoy that but we did enjoy the outdoor shower and bathtub attached to our room. I had a spa treatment which was nice but there was no spa, just a massage room. Overall it was a nice stay but far from some of the adventurous jungle spots.

Property's Favourite Review
If I could rate Ka’ana 100 stars I would! Our stay at Ka’ana was absolutely fantastic! From the moment it began to the minute we left every detail was top notch! The staff was beyond friendly and within 7 days became our family. They created an intimate experience that blew us away, making every moment of our elopement memorable. Our room was beautiful with its own private garden and plunge pool to boot! We loved how eco conscious and sustainable everything was. The grounds were perfectly manicured, showcasing all of the flora that could potentially end up on your plate or in your drink that day! The food was OUTSTANDING! Every meal prepared with care and more delicious than I could have imagined! I’m still craving the ceviche! When we weren’t eating everything in site we were enjoying the most blissful massages ever! We had a beautiful elopement ceremony at Cahal Pech Archeological Reserve in the middle of our stay. All the planning of our special day was done with ease! All of my crazy requests (within reason) were granted! The day was filled with love from the time it started until it ended with an amazing dinner in their beautiful wine cellar. Once we were married we still had a few days left for adventure! The different tour’s they have available will make you feel like you’re Indians Jones or Lara Croft Tomb Raider! They are seamlessly curated to give you once in a life time experience! ATM IS A MUST! And don’t miss out on their Mayan Cooking Class if you are any type of foodie! The entire staff contributed to our wonderful time at Ka’ana Resort. I wish I had more words to express the joy I still feel from our trip. I know we will be regular guests at the resort for years to come. If you have any doubts booking at this lovely paradise look no further. Ka’ana Resort is hands down an experience of a lifetime! Whether you want a unique wedding or just want a relaxing vacay this place is simply perfect.

We spent the first three nights of our two week trip here and should have planned longer. What a beautiful place. The food was amazing and such a quiet and beautiful place. The front desk was so helpful. We had booked with a company for a tour and they didn’t show up on time to get us. The front desk called them and got us taken care of and on the tour.

Our stay at Ka'ana was fantastic. The front-desk staff (particularly Thomas and Lida) answered all of our questions and assisted us to arrange every activity imaginable, including at the last minute. The restaurant staff (particularly Lily) spoiled us with delicious food and great recommendations each night. They also lit a fire, which was accompanied by the sound of water from the fountain behind it. It created a serene and intimate environment. The rooms were likewise serene and so well appointed. The bed was large and comfortable, which made leaving for excursions difficult. The indoor and outdoor showers had abundant hot water, and the plunge pool remained cool, for the person who likes such a dip to counter a hot and humid day out exploring. The hotel's livestock and farm are on display at one end of the property, and from anywhere on the grounds, you can see so many stars at night. At the hotel, we also did the cooking class with Claudita and Mirta, which was so very fun and joyous. After doing it, we got to sit at a private area, with the fogon still burning. And wherever we went at whatever time, we were addressed by name. So many details and care!

Our vacation at Ka’ana was amazing from the start, we were picked up at the airport by Andy who soon became part of our family and the best tour guide. The front desk and concierges were very personable and attentive. Our drinks and meals were made extra special because of the staff, Miguel, Victor and Mike. Our family enjoyed visiting the San Ignacio Market, Big Rock Falls, canoeing in Barton Creek, the Belize Zoo, and Xunatunich. We tasted some of the best local cuisine at Brit’z Dairy & Fast Food. If you have room to spare in your luggage, they offer Packing for a Purpose - a wonderful way to give back to their beautiful community.
