We went to the restaurant. Wow!! Fabulous ambience and food. The inside portion is air-conditioned, and the outside is gently lit with lamps and surrounded by manicured trees. The food is varied, with different local cuisines included in the menu. Just outstanding.

Such an Amazing stay in every way! When we arrived, we were greeted with friendly smiles and refreshments 🙃 We loved the atmosphere, the plants, wildlife, the beach ~ very peaceful ~ The food was sooo good and everyone was very hospitable ~ we knew their names and they knew us! Anything we needed or wanted was a call away.

The property is stunning! The staff takes great pride in keeping the beaches and property clean. Our beach loft was beautiful and had every amenity you could think of! Housekeeping did miss our room 1 of 2 days. The poolside drinks and food were delicious although they did always take a while to arrive. We waited 1.5 hours for a pizza one afternoon. The restaurant ambience is wonderful, the staff is very friendly however they are poorly trained. They were often confused and the food took an exceptionally long time to arrive (an hour plus every time). We had a golf cart and started visiting other resorts/restaurants for our meals so that solved that problem. Overall, we would give this property another try on a future visit.

Amazing resort right off the ocean. The staff were super friendly, the pool was amazing, and the room was all decorated, clean, and comfortable. Overall, a fantastic stay for anyone looking to escape.

I would recommend Itzana and look forward to returning when it is completed. Friendly staff, but need more training and attention to some details. I enjoyed the meal selections and many locations on beach, at the pool, the deck or inside dining options. Pool bar was fun ad quick!

This might easily be the best vacation I ever had. The hotel is world class in service, food, and details. The management team goes out of their way to make everyone feel confortable. Spent 3 days, and can't wait to go back!

Place was lovely, but the check in, restaurant and housecleaning services were truly awful. I waited 1.5 hours for breakfast, dinner was a wait did an Hour before any food showed up, and ther orders were all wrong. Needs a complete management overhaul.

Our trip was cancelled the day of our arrival to Belize through no fault of our own. The hotel was given notice on the 11th of January that we would not be arriving on the 18th. They chose to penalize us the entire cost of our stay 2793.00 USD. To make matters worse their sister resort Ka’ana also penalized us for the entire cost of their stay at 2073.00 USD. We lost close to 5000.00 USD because the hotels offer no refunds. We did not choose the hotels l, they were chosen for us by a travel agent, but one of the hotels Copal Tree did refund us a portion of the unused stay. We travel all over the world and have never had this happen before. It’s truly an expensive lesson learned especially since our trip insurance proved useless as well.

The most stunning looking resort and the perfect beach. The rooms were gorgeous, spacious and clean. The poolside food was delicious. Overall wait times for food and drink was exceptionally long and the mixed cocktails were horrible.
