Naturally beautiful cay; rich underwater life; nicely landscaped. It is 7.1 acres, enough to feel big, but small enough to feel like your own cay. different parts of the island offer a variety - manicured lawn, hidden beach, great pier more than enough to choose...More
Hatchet Caye is a great place to unwind, very laid back if that's what you want. There's plenty to keep you busy also, if that's what you want. We did the Turtle snorkeling trip and enjoyed the heck out of that, turtles, nurse sharks, and...More
While sailing in Belize, this caye was a must on our list. While my 3 traveling companions had all been here, I never had and I thank them all for making sure I did not miss it. The island is just a resort, nothing else...More

I don't like to be cold at depth regardless of the surface/air temp so I wore a skin with a shorty over (or under!) and was never cold at depth for my 50+ min dives. Have a great time, wonderful property and staff!!
I don't think there is a wheelchair on site - I did not see one, but they may be able to arrange for you to rent one.
You can arrange your diving right on Hatchet Caye - there is a dive shop with equipment rental on site.
