This is our second year at Finca Beach house. We enjoy the setting, caretakers, Gardner and owner. I'm up every morning to watch the sunrise with my morning coffee. The birding from the front porch has been fun this year as well with Orioles, woodpeckers, chachalacas, kiskadees and various warblers coming in for berries. An osprey fishes the area at...

The owner and caretakers are great. The place has everything you need for a chill time at the beach. It is close to Turtle Inn and Mariposa if you don't want to cook. It is a decent walk to town, so you will need to use the bikes or a taxi to town (about 10 BZ). It is close to...

A lovely place to stay for rest and relaxation. Beautiful setting, but you need to get to town for provisions and although there are bikes, it is not an easy ride. Doesn't take long, but the traffic is a bit scary and don't think about it at night. It's fairly easy to grab a cab from town, but there is...

Had a great time. Loved Placencia although we hit a period of high winds and some rain. Finca is quite private and quiet. Has everything we needed for a one week stay. We found it too far from the village seeing our plan was to eat out all the time so we rented a golf cart (350 US) for the...

We have been delighted to stay at the bungalow house on Finca beach. Lush tropical garden around and beach on our doorstep. Lovely peaceful area on edge of town. Bikes with baskets and lock provided- short 10 min cycle to centre of town. Flat roads but with no street lights so bring a torch or bike lights. House is spacious...

My husband and I spent eight days for our honeymoon at Finca, and we could not have had a better experience. It was exactly what we were looking for. It's a private property with amazing trees and animals (keep an eye out for the parrots in the morning; we even saw a very large iguana one morning!), and the view...

Great cabana! Extremely close to ocean and village. Definitely go to the turtle inn and use the pool and order food. Val and Valerie were great caretakers. And MARLY!! Marley is the finca dog who will love u too death! She will laybon ur porch, lick ur face, and go with you on long strolls on the beach. She knows...

We spent three glorious weeks at the Finca Beach Cabana. From its elevated perspective of the grounds, beach and sea, the cabana catches the fresh Caribbean breezes and never lets you forget you're in a tropical paradise. A short ride to Placencia village on one of the properties' bicycles puts a wide variety of drinking, dining, diving, shopping and entertainment...

Yes, the sea is that blue. Yes, the beach is that close. Yes, you really do have this spectacular property to yourself. The pictures aren't photo-shopped. I can't tell you how many times my husband and I said, "I can't believe we're here!" In a word, stunning. We stayed in the cabana for three weeks (Feb. 2013) and enjoyed every...

The Finca Beach house brought all of my beachside living fantasies to life. The main house and cabana are both homey, cozy and beautifully appointed with really nice sheets, towels, pots, pans, linens, etc. I was there nearly four years ago, but I still bask in the memories of entire days spent going back and forth from the sandy beach...
