My quote "This is probably one of the most beautiful places I've been in my life!" That being said, it wasn't the place for us. Too isolated, a good long trip to Placencia ($40 Belize cab ride one way). many other problems that didn't appeal to us. We are early risers and like to watch the sunrise but couldn't get...

Our recent trip to Belize (November 2012) was life changing and Singing Sands Inn was a huge contributing factor to our amazing experience. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately maintained. The cabanas are lovely! They are VERY simple but clean and pleasant. One note would be that most of the cabanas, except one, are very close to one another and...

My girlfriend and I stayed here in October as part of a Groupon deal, and we are both glad we did. The resort itself is small but beautiful - exactly as shown in the pictures on the website. The gardener keeps the grounds immaculate, raking the beach every morning. The entire staff was friendly and Maya was really helpful arranging...

My partner and I stayed here with another couple as part of a Groupon deal (Half the time in Placencia and half in Maruba). Pros: There are only 8 cabanas and every one is practically on the beach so I wouldn't get crazy if cabana #1 isn't available. It has an intimate feel yet every other couple was friendly and...

My husband and I stayed at Singing Sands for a couple days during our honeymoon in July 2012 and it was great! We were lucky and booked Cabana #1. I think the Cabana is the same as all the others inside, but it is on the opposite side of the resort from the other cabanas and offers a lot more...

My husband and I went for our honeymoon this past October. We have zero complaints about Singing Sands! Maya and her husband were great at arranging tours, the staff was excellent, the food was out of this world (drunken noodle is the best) and the amenities were unbeatable. The days we wanted to just stay at the resort we were...

By boyfriend and I spent a week adventure at singing sands this past October. We snorkeled, hammocked, took the golf cart into town, went on a ruins adventure and overall just unwinded. I would recommend singing sands with the upmost esteem. Couple of suggestions...request the cabana closest to the water on the opposite side of the restaurant from the the...

My husband and I have traveled extensively and I have to say I have never encountered people who are as wonderful as the staff at Singing Sands. Maya is a wonderful woman who was willing to go above and beyond for anything we needed. SS is beautiful and sits on a wonderful beach. Tranquility at it's best. We never felt...

We loved our visit to singing sands! we heard that sand flies can be bothersome, but neither of us had bites at all. we only received a few mosquito bites. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the food at the restaurant onsite. After staying in San Ignacio and experiencing some authentic belizean cuisine, the fusion/satify-everyone type of...

what a nice hotel. The owner Maya and her husband are very accomadating. the bungalows are everything you need on the beach. They let us use their computer after my phone got water damaged. The beach is just steps from your bungalow. we would definitely stay there again.
