Unfortunately, we were in Placencia during a very odd windy spell that had been going on for a week. It remained the same during our stay so we were not really able to take advantage of the waterfront as it was always too choppy for...More

The hotel does not provide transportation from the airports in Belize City. You can take a puddle jumper from Belize City directly to the airport in Placencia and they will be able to arrange for a pick up from there which is only about 10 minutes from the hotel. The drive from Belize City to Placencia is about 3 hours. I would not recommend doing this drive when it's dark. The roads in Belize are not well lit at night and you will come across about 10-12 short one lane bridges that sneak up on you at night . During the day it is a pleasant drive that is very scenic.
