Stayed in the Angel Fish Cabana at Ranguana Lodge in January. A perfect spot to stay in Placencia that's right on the beach and near the Tipsy Tuna beach bar and D'Thatch Restaurant. Lovely and clean, right on the beach, close to all the restaurants and bars with a very helpful receptionist, you can't ask for much more.

What a great experience to stay in one of the beachfront cabins on a white sand beach only twenty steps to the sparkling Caribbean. Reservations were handled flawlessly via email. Room was ready on arrival with help with baggage. Room was spotlessly clean. Front porch had table, chairs and hammock and beach had comfy beach chairs. Cleaned every day to...

We were originaly staying at the Singing Sands Resort on Maya Beach but only ended up staying there one night and moving into Placencia. We walked by The Ranguana Lodge and noticed they had a beachfront Cabana available. They gave us a tour of the grounds and the Cabana and we immediately fell in love with the place. By far,...

My husband and I just got back from Belize two days ago and I was so happy with Ranguana I had to write about it !!!! To start, Joy kept in constant communication with me over the last few months about the place and was so patient and answered each and every annoying question I had. When we finally got...

We stayed here for 8 nights in June and had a great time. We stayed in a beach front, air conditioned cabin, and were very happy with it. The room itself was great with a view that absolutely can't be beat, and the bathroom, while a little small, was always clean and was everything we needed. My favorite part of...

Everything is exactly as stated on their web site. Small cottages with basic amenities, clean, bright and with fairly comfortable beds (hard foam mattresses were not very forgiving), right on the beach with lots of palm trees to provide shade if desired. We were there in mid-August after the busy season so it was very quiet. There are a couple...

Extremely well located to local bars (Tipsy Tuna , Barefoot Bar) and restaurants, groceries. Don't forget to look in the fridge to find your coffee and sugar. Booking , reception very kind and...

When we arrived in the beginning of June we were only going to stay a couple of days. But after staying in one of the beach front cabanas we ended up staying there the whole time. YEP 8 days! The location and staff are awesome. Shelly (front office) was a wonderfully kind and a helpful woman. I am definitely going...

We had a cabana for three people for 2 nights. The cabana was clean and comfortable. There was no AC but there were fans so the heat/humidity werent a problem. Rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. We had a beautiful view from our "garden" cabin, which faced the ocean. Nice location.
