From our guide book I was expecting this hotel to be on the river. Well, the river is somewhere back there but this is definitely an in-town hotel. And boy is the town ugly and dusty. That said, if you want to see the Maya ruins of Lamanai and don't want to pay and arm and a leg for the...

We have travelled for 4 months in South and Central America. This would be one of the best hotels overall we have stayed in. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom a good adequate size. Tons of hot water. No problems with Wifi (excellent strength), Air Con or TV. Staff were absolutely excellent. They booked tours for us and...

De La Fuente may be the best hotel in Orange Walk but it does not make it a good hotel. We booked 5 months in advance and had junior suite # 307 (most expensive room) 1) When we arrived, we asked about the tours to Lamanai (the reception desk is also a travel agency) : the prices quoted at the...

We stayed in Orange Walk for two nights and based on the reviews of this and other hotels didn't even consider staying anywhere else. Just about everything was perfect at the Hotel de la Fuente. Our room (number 204) was large and in the back of the main building, so quiet. The beds were comfortable, and the TV had something...

Stayed 2 comfortable nights in this clean and quite hotel. Great staff. Delicious continental breakfast each AM. Free bicycles and a canoe for guests to use. Enjoyed riding around Orange Walk and seeing the sites. Would happily stay there again. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very modern and the beds at extremely comfortable. Great price per night and safe with an off street parking so you never have to worry about your rental...

On a brief stop in Orangewalk to change the bus from Corozal to Sarteneja we wanted to change US dollars into Belize dollars. It seemed to us that there were no money exchange places and the bank was closed on a Tuesday afternoon at 2:30pm. Yvan of the Hotel de la Fuente was the only person who was willing to...

Even though I arrived at the hotel at 0600, I was invited in and made welcome. The place was busy, since the USAF occupied a number of the rooms. They offer a little buffet breakfast between 7 and 9 AM. They have a helpful local map available, too. I had a standard room with a double bed. Unfortunately, because of...

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. We were lucky enough to stay in one of their newly built cabins by the river and it was a great experience! The cabin was beautifully decorated, with a comfy bed, and the nice cold a/c was great after a hot steamy day outside. The staff was very helpful in setting up...

We spent four nights here and sort of made it our base camp for exploring the area and it was a great experience. We arrived very early the first day and even though we had not officially checked in they still offered us free breakfast. That set the tone for the level of service you find here. Any time we...
