5 years ago my sister and I decided that we needed to have a weekend getaway just for us. A Sisters Weekend. A time for us to relax and forget about stress, work, obligations, and all of that other grown-up stuff. My sister's only request was that it had to be no further than 2 hours away from her house...

We came here on a whim and are very pleased we did. Kim and Susan are the best hosts, great cook, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, good conversations, there beautiful home, and grounds... They are very in touch with surrounding activities and what there is to see and do in the community. Good times.

Beautiful Historic Antebellum B&B and formal gardens with paths winding through them for a peaceful walk. My husband and I have stayed at quite a few B&Bs but the Americus Garden Inn is still our favorite. While the inn is gracious and beautiful, the owners/hosts, Kim and Susan are a big plus. They are SO friendly and make you feel...

Very relaxing, quiet and peaceful accommodations. This is the place to go for a weekend getaway. My wife and I would definitely come here again. The breakfast in the morning was the final touch in an excellent stay.

Staying at this B & B is like staying with wonderful friends. The accommodations are superb and the hosts are top-notch. My husband and I stayed for our 40th anniversary and had a great time. And we appreciated the "special touches" in recognition of our celebration. I'd previously stayed for a getaway with my sister and knew it would be...

Dear SuzyB57, Thank you so much for returning to the Americus Garden Inn. It was our pleasure to host your 40th anniversary celebration. Andersonville National Historic Site, which is also the site of the National Prisoner of War Museum, is a very somber, thought-provoking venue. Jimmy Carter National Historic Site, which includes the farm house where President Carter lived as...

On a recent month-long road trip, my husband and I chose to stay at the Americus Garden Inn. This was the first time we have stayed at a B&B. I don't know why I opted for it over our usual hotel/motel choices (probably read TripAdvisor reviews) but it was one of the best and most memorable experiences we've had. Our...

Dear eggzacklee71, Thank you so much for your kind words. As you mentioned, there are 2 National Historic Sites within a 15 minute drive (Andersonville and Jimmy Carter).
