I come here for great service, coffee, and best wifi in town. The colonial setting and furniture are gorgeous, the grounds are immaculate. Lots of beautiful flowers, and happy, well kept parrots. Done writing, but needed 5 more characters.

Before I review our room, I must say the hotel is in a very beautiful, old building with a large central courtyard. The flowers and plants everywhere are so lush. If the birds are out, it adds to the charm. Many antiques are on display throughout the public areas. The hotel and restaurant staff were very courteous and helpful. We...

This hotel is what you'd expect in Chichicastenango, Guatemala. It's like out of a picture book, all the way down to the chairs. It is overflowing with beautiful plants. The rooms, although no AC, heat, or ceiling fan, are temp perfect. We had a group of 20. We were all comfortable. There is a pool, but we didn't swim. This...

The hotel has a very historic feel to it. The furnishings and the architecture take you back in time. I spent a whole afternoon looking at the colonial era art around the hotel. The parrots in the courtyard are a nice touch. The food tastes great, the staff is incredibly nice. I intend to come back again!

The Santo Tomas Hotel is old and charming. Windows were decorated with lavender and ribbons, I assume to commemorate the Lenten season. The lobby is combined with a sort of gift shop containing all manner of jewelry and tasteful souvenirs. Antique statues of saints sit in niches behind the front desk. I felt like I was transported back in time....

Excellent location nice garden and decent breakfast. This concludes the best features of this hotel. Medium room and very dark. There is no air conditioning and room heating is done with an electric stove. Very small bathroom with shower intolerable flowing and extreme temperature change. No WIFI in rooms and in the lobby it is terribly slow. There is a...

We stayed here during our honeymoon. The hotel is located in the very centre of Chichicastenango, 2 minutes away from the main church and the market. The hotel itself is lovely, with nice courtyards and gardens, a nice swimmingpool, and lovely birds. Rooms were comfortable and clean, and we even had a chimney which was good as evenings can get...

Stayed here for 7 days with a missions team. Far exceeded my expectations. The grounds, the rooms and the meals were wonderful. My only suggestion would be to request a room on the far backside of the hotel.......Otherwise, you may well be kept awake at night by the sounds of fireworks at all hours and the horns of passing buses...

I stayed at Hotel Santo Tomas for two nights while visiting the famous open-air market of Chichicastenango. The hotel had a gorgeous old world charm and the room was incredibly spacious. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. The room door locks were a little tricky to use (made me a little nervous our room could be broken...

We didn't stay here, but after spending 3-4 hours at the Chichi market, we found ourselves in need of some cool drinks and entered this hotel. The décor was classic colonial and the place has an old world charm to it. In its tiny courtyard, a number of colourful macaws were chirping away. Beautiful to look at, but if you...
