We always stay at Mario's rooms and have so for years. The staff is always very friendly and the rooms very clean. I would recommend staying in one of the rooms on the first floor though since those are the quiet ones.
Read reviews saying 15$ a night. They wanted 750 quetzals (100+$). It was very pretty and quiet but overpriced. With two beds in the room, very crowded. Found a nice new hotel around the corner for 200 quetzals (27$).

With friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms this is a great little hotel. We stayed in a double room with toilet and shower and everything was to our liking. excellent wifi and free filtered water make this place a five star recommendation.

I paid 80 quetzales for one person last December. I don't know current rates nor the price for a room with twin beds, if there are twin beds. But the price is very low for Guatemala and two rooms might be affordable for you. I don't believe they have minifridges, but might find space for you in a fridge somehwhere.
I made my resevation a week in advance To be on the safe side I suggest that you make it sooner.
Enjoy your trip!
