Hot water available 24 hours a day, lovely courtyard, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff - what more could You ask for! Close to the lake but lovely and quiet. Thank you. Trip adviser requires me to say more but I think that says it all

I only had a two night stay as part of a tour, but absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Utz Jay, In Panachel near Lake Atitlan.. I had a very large upper story of a wooden cabin set in the grounds of a very pretty garden. It was charming to sit on 'my' balcony to relax and listen to all...

The place is very comfortable, quiet, has a beautiful garden with lots of options to sit and enjoy a drink. They provide enough information, organize the usual tours for you, but well and reliable. It is a haven in the otherwise commercial and gray Panajachel.

Hot water was in the reverse so it took us some time to figure it out. Room (#10) was great with private bathroom. Nice terrace with no view . Internet and...

Just a block off the main street and short walk to the docks. A great location and a great price. Plenty of HOT water for showers, they provide...

Had a very nice time at this hotel. It is located off of the main drag in town. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The owner has 2 German Shepherd dogs that are very friendly and play well with children. Breakfast was included with the room and was very good.

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Utz Jay while visiting Lake Atitlan. The hotel is in a very good location - close to the main street & the two ferry points in Panajachel. We had a upstairs room with balcony, which was nice to come back to and relax. The room was of average size with a double & single...

Awesome hotel with helpful staff and lush, relaxing garden! Close to the market and lake shore, but very quiet and tranquil. The breakfast option in the morning was a definite plus. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
