Fantastic food here at the Posada. The chicken tacos, salads, and the appetizers were excellent. A decent wine selection too. Good atmosphere and bustling.. I would recommend any dishes at this restaurant. Highly recommend a pre dinner drink at the beach bar across the street 9part of the Posada) and the view is fantastic.

We have been staying at the Posada every year since about 2005 for vacation before we begin medical volunteer work in the area. It is a distinctly unusual place with lovely grounds and views, stone cottages and artistic Mayan decor. The owner, David, is amusing and involved in the community. The staff is friendly and empowered to run the place,...

Spent a week at Posada de Santiago while volunteering in the area. Comfortable rooms, beautiful grounds, GREAT restaurant, superior staff, and easy access to the Lake make this a relaxing respite for travelers. I'd happily stay there again if I'm in the area.

Beautiful location just outside Santiago overlooking one of the majestic volcanos. It has its own dock so you can be dropped directly at the property but it is equally as easy to walk from the main harbour using the public service which runs regularly (20-25Q from Pana). The rooms are rustic yet comfortable- only thing was that the fireplace seemed...

Thanks for your comments. Sorry about the smoke. We found a squirrel nest in the chimney, which was built in a day or two.

This was the first time I arrived by boat to my hotel. We pulled up to the dock and saw the pool and bar area that is below the actual hotel. Checked in and was shown to our rooms. Nice rooms, clean, hot showers good wifi, and a great view of the lake and Volcano. Had numerous meals at the...

We spent 2 nights here, we arrived by boat from San Anotiono Palopo, it was lovely to walk up past the pool and through the gardens. We were quite early in the day so our luggage was stored and we went off to explore via a short Tuk tuk ride. Once back our room was ready and it was adorable....

We had at the Posada for one night. My daughter really enjoyed the property. The restaurant has a collection of games to keep the young one busy. The pool is decent size and is good for kids to enjoy!! The staff is very helpful and the food is excellent. David ( the owner) is very helpful. He helped arrange boats...
