We spent the night here on our way from Guatemala to Belize. We were just looking for a place to sleep and were pleasantly surprised. The hotel, centrally located on the road to the harbor, did not look like much, but the owner really did his utmost for us and gave us a very nice price for a clean and...

When i arrived in the rain , the Owner helped me out with finding my way out to Belize. I stayed here for one night and they did everything to give me a nice time here. The rooms are clean, the price is reasonable aswell. Great service and the breakfast is included.

This is a good little hotel with nice rooms and a nice garden area where you can sit or relax in a hammock. They also have a terrace with a couple of seats and a washing line (which was a God-send for drying clothes!). The owners are very friendly and they also run a travel agency so they are very...

We had a nice stay here. We left early in the morning on the boat to Belize so missed breakfast, but they were able to take that off the room price. The owner gave us directions to the 7 altars and was helpful and friendly. The associated restaurant was also quite good where we had some nice veggie curry. If...

Stayed here for one night while jumping from Belize to Honduras. It's cheap and clean and central to the town. They organised a driver to takes us all the way to La Ceiba in Honduras, which in actually fact only ended up being to San Pedro Sula, which was a bit annoying. It's a standard backpacker place with fan rooms...

Has a great location a short walk from the dock and very easy to find. The hotel has a nice internal garden with seats and hammocks although this does attract the mosquitos. The lack of windows - screens only - is a little disconcerting and does not allow for any privacy (especially with a ground floor room) and the ensuite...

An elaborately decorated guesthouse with a sort of maritime theme. Service is good and the owners are helpful and friendly. My room was big for one person, with a shared balcony to sit on. The hotel is clean enough, but for the price I paid (Q200) you may expect it to be a bit cleaner. I used breakfast four times....

After climbing up the hill from the dock it was a relief to find Hotel Ríos Tropicales so close to the immigration office. I didn't have a reservation but they showed me straight to a room that was basic but adequate with a very large fan to keep me cool at night. The screens, although curtained off, made me feel...
