If you're looking for a great hostel in Xela - with spectacular breakfast options (included in the price) - the Black Cat is where it's at! Friendly staff, an open kitchen, and piping hot showers all top it off - and speedy internet, too!
The rooms are good, with comfortable beds and lockers available. The crowd here was lovely and socialising was facilitated by a nice common area. The 60Q a night includes a free breakfast (35Q worth!), so this really is a bargain. The breakfasts tasted awesome too!...More
This hostel is great value for money. Great central, but quiet location (except for the guy of the staff who was talking really loud at 6 a.m. every morning). Breakfast which was included was really tasty; you could choose from the menu. Friendly staff.

Needed a place to stay before my family homestay begun for my Spanish classes. Comfy beds, WiFi, friendly staff, discounted breakfast, and nice common areas make the black cat a great place to stay in Xela. Great drink prices too! Check it out!
