parking lot was occupied always. The staffs are not good. They asked me to wait 3 pm because their check in hour is that. it is O.K. but they offered to early check in at 2:30 with lower grad room without notice. When I asked whether it is same grade room or not , they didn't reply to me and then the other lady came to me it is not same room but they are offering with goodwill . Without notice of changing the room to lower grade is good will for this hotel. When I complained what is goodwill, the other lady came to me and said it is same room. eventually I could take room over 3 pm. they didn't come to me until 3:10 and they just said they use take room when I went to the front desk even though I sit on the chair front of their desk. I think they offered with purpose and it was came from their management. Hotel is not bad but it is not good experience. I stayed in this hotel with very bad feeling.…
Customer service was amazing by all staff especially Ricardo Cano who works in front desk. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. The restaurant service and the pool view was great. Will come again.
It’s a good 3,5 star hotel, the best in Xela for sure. The rooms are well furnished and the hotel is really clean. The parking lot is a mess because is shared with Walmart. The breakfast is not good. The hotel is well located to several food places and a mall
The hotel has strict covid regulations in place and claims all rooms are disinfected and sanitized. When I arrived in my room, the first thing I wanted to do was wash my hands only to find no soap or any other toiletries. I had to call for some soap. As I was unpacking and organizing my things, I noticed some drink rings on the bedside table. I had some disinfecting wipes so I wiped them off and noticed that the white wipe was grey. I proceeded to wipe down all the surfaces - night stands, desk, dresser - and all the wipes were then totally grey. In the bathroom I noticed the toilet hadn't been properly cleaned and there was dirt and toothpaste on the light switch and wall around the light switch. I don't call that sanitized, let alone cleaned. It was rather disgusting. As I wanted to get to bed, I cleaned things myself with my sanitizing wipes and told the front desk the next morning. They offered to change my room but it would have been too much of a hassle. Other than that, as though that wasn't enough, the pillows were small and uncomfortable. The breakfast was very good but the dining area was very cold. The location of the hotel was excellent for shopping with Walmart and a large mall next door. Another mall and Cemaco were just across the highway, about a block away. As a Canadian I was also a bit surprised that there were no English speaking channels on the TV like other hotels I've stayed in in Guatemala.…
The check-in was very smooth, no problems encountered. The room was marvelous and pleasant. The breakfast area was large and has staff to assist with the sitting and to serve the coffee. Food was delicious with eggs to order and all kinds of additional snaks.
Our stay was short, only one night, but the staff was very attentive. Ivan, helped with our bags and gave us great recommendations regarding the weather. Quetzaltenango is a great city to visit, or to use as a base of operations while discovering the “altiplano”, the highlands of Guatemala.
Something comfortable is not too bad, nor is it said that the prices are a bit high, the price may change a little more so that any mid-level visitor can opt for a good luxury room and have a very comfortable time visiting
1. Hair was found on my bed, sheets and pillows, I reported it, they showed me another room, hair was found too, I went to my fathers room and also hair was on his bed, Osmar came to change the bedsheets(which he was very nice) he also found hair on the new sheet he was putting. 2. I stayed 3 nights which included breakfast, the first morning my wife, my dad and I went to get breakfast, the second day, we did not had time to have breakfast, but i wet muro the kitchen so they can give me fruit to go, the guy said is only to eat here, and I said I don’t have the time can you get me some fruit at least, he came with 1 to go plate and I told him we are 3 he said I’m only able to give you 1 we are making an exception, I said thanks and gave him back the fruit. The 3rd day we left early, I didn’t even want to humiliate myself by going to ask for a to go breakfast which was included in my stated for 3 guests, because I knew the answer. 3. Aisles outside of our rooms, were all dirty, door of our room and restroom grease, lipstick and fingerprints, bathrooms were not clean, fingerprints in the mirrors and some hairs. Shower curtain was never change prior or during our 3 nights stay, the curtain was smelly and I had to buy plastic sandals for my wife and I to take a shower. I don’t really understand why this is a 4 star hotel with all this issues, not only in my room but on my fathers room and the additional room the staff was offering us.…
This hotel could be located anywhere in the world. No charm, but no harm. It is a very modern, clean and comfortable 4 star hotel. The location is great, not far from the city center (we decided to walk and it took about 30 minutes) and right in front of a shopping center. By the way, the visit to Xela was one of the highlights of our trip! Service was top (they were super accommodating and extremely nice). We had a problem with the room they first gave us and in exchange they upgraded us to a better room (but all of them are spacious and nice). I would not miss the breakfast- a perfect mix between a Guatemala cuisine and a continental buffet. The best breakfast of our stay in Guatemala!
While in Quetzaltenango, I stayed at this hotel and this was very nice location. Its in a great location and surrounded by mall and nice restaurants. It was clean and very quiet. This hotel is very nice and very close to the office
