Another year at Half Moon Bay Resort..excellent! If you want inexpensive clean quiet accommodations, in a great location, and best of all the staff is very hospitable! The cabins are nice but we like the rooms in the back because of the privacy. Sunsets are great here. The location is excellent! Look no further.. This is where you want to...

We didn't stay but we're allowed to use facilities as a part of private snorkeling tour. The snorkeling right off the resort is good and the chairs can be placed in sun or shade. No beach but that is Roatan- you are there for the reef and relaxation.

Stayed here for a week in January. Rooms were simple but clean. Hot water, A/C and comfortable beds! We were in Room 2. Unbeatable views! With excellent snorkeling just steps from the room. Our friends sent us a bottle of wine and the hotel staff offered to put on a fancy dinner with appetizer on the house which was amazing....

I would highly recommend staying at Half Moon Resort. If you are looking for a normal generic American hotel go somewhere else. This place has charm, is genuine local, great staff, great location. Snorkeling within 30 feet of your front porch. Tomas, Jenny, Shawn and the entire staff were fantastic. We saw turtles, eels, beautiful coral and fish in abundance....

We stayed at half moon resort this past may. Snorkeling in front of resort is great, even swam with a turtle one morning. There is a pod of Caribbean reef squid that hung out in front of the old sailboat everyday. The old sailboat itself is great fun to swing from or just lounge on. The food at the resort...

All cabanas are pretty much the same, some being closer to the sea than others. On site is the ecodivers dive shop, one of the many in west end. What makes the difference for this little resort is the friendly service, quiet shaded lush garden where the cabanas are located, and their little private oceanfront in between the mangrove with...

Once again half moon made us feel at home! Rene and Matilda are the friendliest of caretakers and we couldn't be happier. Now it's not the Ritz or any of those fancy resorts but we are divers who spend about 8 hours in our room. We have cool AC, nice bed, fridge and beyond that our needs were met. We...

We came down to Roatan to dive, and stayed at Half moon Bay, next door to Eco Divers. This place was great. Very relaxed, great food, great location. Jenni, Shawn and Alex were always there for anything we needed. Their restaurant serves fantastic food at great prices. Rooms are spartan, but clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a...

We stayed here for 1 week over Thanksgiving. All the bungalows have a water view, hammocks and chairs on the porch. The rooms are clean and the daily maid service is great. There is a/c, screens on the windows, hot water, free wifi, free coffee all day, a generator ( key when there is a power outage) and a full bar...

The Resort is quiet and the staff is very friendly. We enjoyed talking to everyone and they made us feel comfortable and safe. We had ZERO theft problems and felt secure. The property sits on the bay and is the only property that has a deck, a patio area, and an additional lounge chair area with direct water access. The...
