Probably you won't find any luxury hotel in Utila. This hotel is just ok. Clean bed sheets and towels is the only thing that I can say. I recommend you to have a look at it before booking it. Sometimes (this is one of the cases) web photos are not enough to picture a place.

Offers long and short-terms accomms. Annie is SO helpful and knowledgable, can't ask for better. Good community feeling, and secure. Also has water access as well as restaurant on site. Needs better wi-fi but you can use public access next door.

We found the managers to be very approachable and friendly. Initially, as we had said that we didn't want a TV we were given one of the cheaper rooms on the ground floor ($20 p/n) But we found that to be too dark for us so we asked to swap to a room with more light, which they happily allowed...

My sister and I spent 3 fabulous weeks there in June 2013. The Manager Annie is a sweet and beautiful person and will go out of her way to accommodate any of your needs. The hotel has a common kitchen that we enjoyed greatly. We made friends with other guest that were from all over the world (Israel, Canada, Denmark,...

It is quiet and has a private beach front. You can'T beat that for 15US$ per night. The service is excellent, there is always someone there to help. Rooms are on the dark side which I personally do not mind as an option to get out of the sun. Rooms have cold water and fan only. Room with TV are...

I originally was only going to be staying at Hotel Utila for 3 nights while I tried to find an apartment to lease, but I ended up staying there for over 5 months! As it turned out, the hotel was right next door to the dive shop I was diving with (BICD), as well as being at a perfect central...

A nice hotel quite central on the main road in the bay. Don't expect too much but it has rooms that are cleaned every day and a good restaurant. The rooms have a private bathroom and usually a fan. For a few days visiting the island it us sufficient.

Checked in here on advice of a local friend, paid 45 us dollars a night. Hotel is in a decent location, rooms very basic with a mishmash of bedding on both double beds - no other option available even for a single traveler. Came with air-conditioning and minute TV and wifi. Although it was meant to have hot water for...

I hate it when reviews tell you about specific experiences that won’t be relevant to everyone so I’ll just say that 80% of our issues here related to the fact that they’re building a restaurant they hope to have completed in the month of Aug 2014. Other than that, it is a basic but adequate place to stay relatively cheaply,...
